Yale Management School officially opens
DateFebruary 5, 2014
The opening ceremony for the new Yale University School of Management took place recently. IBI Group ▪ Gruzen Samton were the Architect of Record and Foster and Partners were the Design Architects.
The Yale School of Management was founded in the late 1970s and has outgrown several buildings at the north end of the campus. The new campus consolidates the school’s many facilities into a single 230,000 sq ft campus near the site of the original complex.
The facility’s main components—classrooms, offices, common spaces, and auditorium—are grouped around a central court, in the tradition of Yale campus architecture, large enough to accommodate graduation ceremonies and other major events.
This project is anticipating LEED Gold certification.
