LOS ANGELES – IBI Group showcased its new office design scheme at a recent open house for clients and staff at the firm’s office on West 9th Street in downtown Los Angeles.
The design features an all-white colour scheme that maximizes natural light with splashes of colour to add interest and excitement, and will be reflected in the look of the new Toronto IBI office opening later this year.
“The new Los Angeles office represents an exciting new phase for IBI Group, building on the strong foundations of the past and embracing the challenges of the future,” said David Chow, Regional Director. “Our space is housed in a historic 1920’s building that has been upgraded internally by IBI with an open-space concept that promotes collaboration, intelligence, sustainability, and efficiency.”
Mr. Chow noted the connection between the new office and the renewed focus of IBI Group. “The look of the office is new and so is our sense of purpose,” he said. “We want to be our clients’ preferred partner by using our innovative thinking, systems knowledge, planning expertise, and design excellence to define the cities of tomorrow.”
Recent projects by the Los Angeles office include the East Los Angeles College Bailey Library Modernization, California State University Science Laboratory, Gold Line TOD Assessment Study, JHF Polytechnic High School Freshman Center, and the award-winning Metro First Last Mile Strategic Plan.
