Craig joined our firm as a partner in 1992 and serves as project principal on our more complicated projects. He has managed large elementary and secondary school projects for the Long Beach Unified and Santa Ana Unified School Districts.
His 12 years of experience with LBUSD includes working as Project Principal on both Dooley’s Elementary School, a project currently under construction, and Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School, a $52 million project which involved the design and construction of a 3,600-student campus on 56 acres of a former military installation. He continues to take on complex urban campus projects.
Prior to coming to IBI / Blurock, Craig spent 15 years on commercial architecture projects, with 10 years of that time spent as principal of his own firm. As a founding partner of Andrews/Rothenburger, he was the Partner-in-Charge of multiple projects in Brea, including the Embassy Suites Hotel, the Capital Group office building and parking structure at Brea Place, the Low and Midruse office at Brea Financial Commons, and was integrally involved in the Brea Marketplace retail center. Other experience includes mixed-use master planning of commercial sites and custom residential single/multi-family projects.
