Kevin S. Fleming, AIA

Kevin Fleming has been with IBI / Blurock for 16 years. He has served as design principal on several of our middle and high school projects as well as the firm’s leader in all community college work. Participating in more than 100 educational projects, Kevin has developed a well-rounded understanding of the educational design process. His knowledge of the state agencies requirements of the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and the California Community College Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) has assisted Districts with maximizing each project’s potential while streamlining the approval process.

Kevin has demonstrated a clear ability to guide the design process through the various community and District committees by carefully listening, and then understanding, the specific concerns of the team members. He believes that successful projects are the result of a team effort, and all involved should contribute to the outcome.

Professionally, Kevin has been actively involved in the American Institute of Architects Orange County Chapter for the past seven years, and last year served as the AIAOC Chapter President. He is also a member of the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) and the Community College Facility Coalition (CCFC).
