Built in a rural area of San Diego County experiencing rapid growth, this school consists of 15 classrooms, a media center and multipurpose room. The Campus is planned around an open-ended courtyard, which in turn faces out to an existing eucalyptus grove, linking the school to it’s rural surroundings. The media center is the focus of the courtyard, creating a quiet study area for the classrooms, relegating the noisier functions of the school to the outside. The multipurpose room is situated at the front of the school for community use.
