Vince Gallo has 20 years of experience and throughout this time, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects including the Aviva Centre Tennis Stadium (Canada’s National Tennis Centre) at York University, the School of Medicine at the University of Waterloo, State Farm Insurance Aurora Operations Centre, McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business located in Burlington Ontario, and numerous LCBO projects located throughout the province. Vince was instrumental in the selection of IBI as the Architect of Record for LCBO. Vince continues to manage projects involving both new-build and renovation of their many wine and liquor stores. Vince brings an organized and comprehensive teamwork approach to all his projects, developing excellent working relationships with clients, consultants and team members alike.

Warren has over 25 years of progressive international experience in the design, planning, and construction of diverse project typologies and scale. He has worked amongst award winning global firms and interdisciplinary teams on multi-billion-dollar masterplans, high-rise office and residential towers, hospitality projects, educational and corporate campuses, mixed-use developments, and sustainable initiatives. Specific areas of expertise are in establishing high-level conceptual thinking and problem solving towards project vision, liaising with clients and stakeholders, team leadership, and effective project delivery of detailed design solutions. Warren is a strong believer in design as a communicative process, building upon narratives that lead to lasting relationships and successful projects by means of amassing and testing the diverse ideas and expertise of all team members involved. Having joined IBI in 2018, Warren’s role was in providing support for the management and growth of the high-rise residential design team while leading several files within the GTA and Montreal concurrently. Having since branched out to lend his expertise towards the growth of the US Building Sector, he has been directing design on a broader range of project designations and P3 pursuits. In addition to his project commitments, he has been instrumental in the evolution of the IBI Design Excellence Committee, intended to showcase the value of design and the collective talents within the firm by promoting innovative thinking, mentoring, integration of technology formats, project reviews, award selections and submissions for publication. Warren has a keen sensibility for detail and craft, cultivated through his extensive hands-on experience of innovative structural solutions in wood framing, as illustrated in his designs of private houses and children’s camps while in Partnership within his former practice. He is an honours graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, a registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional, as well as an abstract artist, having shown his work across Canada, Europe, and the US.

The challenge is to successfully resolve them into a gracefully crafted architectural composition. Our role as designers is to ensure that each building has its own personality and responds appropriately to its urban context. This is what we do best.

Mr. Kazerouni is the Global Director of Buildings at IBI. Mr. Kazerouni graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Master’s degree, in 1991. With over 25 years of experience, he has a significant portfolio of projects completed or underway across Canada, the United States, the UK, UAE, Jordan and India. These include high density high-rise residential buildings, hotels, office, retail, institutional, and complex urban mixed-use developments. A number of these projects have been nominated for and received Urban Design and Architectural Design awards. Mr. Kazerouni has been a guest lecturer on the subject of architecture and mixed-use design at universities, conferences and various panels. He has also been interviewed on the subject by architectural publications, newspapers, television and other media. Mr. Kazerouni’s abilities and expertise in his field have been recognized by his appointment to the City of Mississauga’s Urban Design Advisory Panel, the City of Markham’s Urban Design Advisory Panel and the City of Vaughan’s Urban Design Advisory Panel. He is also a past Advisory Board Member of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

He is the Project Manager for the cities of Jeddah and Al Madinah travel model and Public Transport systems design, the Arriyadh comprehensive public transport plan and the electronic tolling for Attiki Odos the ring road in Athens, Greece and led the integration of multi-application smart card systems project in Europe, under the e-Europe program. Mustafa has provided consulting services to the European Commission on funding ITS projects and proposals since 1998 and is the Technical Manager of the IMS Project, a Canadian initiative funded by the Federal government for the implementation of multi-modal and multi-application smart card systems since 1999.

In her 35+ years with IBI Group, Marie has been involved in the design and development of a variety of systems ranging from Traffic Management, Fleet Management, Traveller Information, Incident Processing, to Financial Accounting, Revenue Management and Tolling. She has gained extensive experience in the various phases of the software development life cycle ranging from gathering user specifications and producing functional specifications through software development and implementation to user documentation, testing and training. Marie has demonstrated excellent organizational and planning skills and attention to detail; as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers and various levels of management. Marie designed the back office for the first IBI Toll System in Greece and since then has lead the IBI toll team in the design, development and implementation of information management for each of its many toll systems. She specializes in database design, development and implementation of information management systems.
