Jacob’s passions for big cities, systems technology, and sustainable mobility align with the work he is involved with as a Transportation EIT. He has also been heavily involved with creating innovative solutions to these issues, with a specific focus on the data and systems integration involved. With his Master’s in Cities Engineering and Management from University of Toronto and Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Mathematics from Queen’s University, Jacob is constantly looking to better address the complex issues urban centres are facing today.

Amer has over 20 years of experience in architectural design and construction for various building typologies. He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary. Following graduation, Amer worked in the United Arab Emirates as a member of the government architectural and engineering staff with responsibilities that developed from design review and detailing to complete design and construction supervision for numerous projects, including major public, residential and industrial developments. He joined IBI’s transit architecture group in early 2001 to 2005 and continued his architectural career in Verona Italy for several years prior to rejoining IBI Group in 2009. Amer has participated in various transit projects from conceptual design and construction documentation through to the completion of construction. These projects include the TTC Eglinton Bus Station, the GTAA Automated People Mover Stations and the Finch West Subway Station. Richard Golledge is a qualified architect specialising in education and healthcare design. Richard Mazuch is an architect and designer who gains great satisfaction from translating holistic ideas into radical but pragmatic solutions. More recently he has co-authored three key Paediatric Guideline documents entitled: ‘Hospital Accommodation for children and young peopleHBN 23’, ‘Friendly healthcare environments for children and young people’ and ‘Mental Health faculties for children and young people’. Richard was also an active member and contributor to the Expert Reference Group responsible for ‘Facilities for Maternity Care’ HBN21. He was a key contributor to ‘The Children’s National Service Framework’ an NHS and Department of Health document with evaluation process and recommendations Richard made early contributions and document reviews of ‘Creating a Better Health Environment’ an Audit Took Kit by The National Childbirth Trust in 2003. In education, Richard is translating his work in healthcare paediatrics to benefit teachers and students. Working alongside University partners, he is pioneering the development of an ‘optimal learning environment’, improving motivation, behaviour and concentration amongst pupils, especially those with special educational needs.

As IBI’s Regional Technology Lead responsible for all USA offices, I have taken the responsibility to move the company into the Building Information Modeling era using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Virtual Reality.
