James Sorensen specializes in ITS projects and has led a wide variety of advanced public transportation systems, traveller information systems, traffic management applications, and public safety and emergency response technologies. He also has provided ITS strategic planning and technology assessments for a wide variety of public agency and private sector clients. James was the Project Manager for the ITS and Communications Design of the CTfastrak Bus Rapid Transit project, the Bridgeport Connecticut ATMS and Operations project, and the development of regional ITS architecture for Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico. James is a past president of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Massachusetts and a recipient of their Award of Excellence. He has worked on two projects that have received the Intelligent Transportation Society of Connecticut’s Project of the Year Award. Although Marsha Bousquet has 26 years of experience related to urban infrastructure development from planning through implementation, since 2009, Marsha’s focus has been entirely dedicated to AFP/P3-type projects. Her role extends from the commercial management of P3 projects, design team management, bid management during RFQ/RFP stage, and instilling best practices in delivery. Prior to that, she undertook master planning and entitlements for major redevelopment projects in Canada and the United States that have reshaped development patterns to take advantage of public transit, contributing to more sustainable city building. Audrey has a BA in Geography from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Urban Planning from McGill University. She is the Chair of the Executive Committee of Pragma Council at the University of Waterloo, a forum of business, education and government leaders; a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI); and a Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Champion.
