As Project Manager, and a Registered Architect, Steve has brought a wide range of experience over his 35 year career to IBI. Since joining IBI almost 4 years ago, he has specialized in industrial and automotive work. Originally hired in the Southfield, MI office, Steve has since transferred to the Raleigh, NC office where he has been for the past 3 years. His automotive/industrial experience has given him the opportunity to work for all the major automotive manufacturers while completing large or complicated projects of note for Toyota and Tesla. Since joining the Raleigh office, he has begun to diversify his experience, by working on a myriad of projects ranging from Maintenance & Operations (M&O) facilities for local and out of state municipalities, to working with the NC Wildlife Resource Commission, NCWRC, on the re-design of a shooting range. In May of 2019, he was promoted to an L1, Associate Principal, level within the IBI Global Leadership and more recently became the Operations Manager for the Raleigh office helping with the day to day operations of the office.

Garry Howard is a talented designer, skilled at executing complex design exercises for both the healthcare and education sector. Caz Thomson has 20 years of commercial experience in systems architecture design and full lifecycle development within many disciplines, ranging from utilities management, through medical insurance to manufacturing and transportation systems. David is a Senior Consultant based in IBI’s Glasgow office with considerable project management and consultancy experience. In a career spanning over 20 years, David has worked in both technology and transport planning fields. Since joining IBI he has played a lead role on our work with Transport Scotland, where he is now the project manager for the major Traffic Scotland Systems Contract Framework, one of IBI’s largest projects in the UK. This contract covers the development and operation of a number of systems critical to the management of the strategic road network and related functions, as well as other consulting services. In addition to the project manager role, David continues to lead on specific projects delivered under the Framework, including Scotland’s new National Traffic Data System. This is a significant development for Transport Scotland and has been a complex project which has required a range of skills: engagement and coordination with a wide range of stakeholders; technical ability in respect to system requirements and design; management of the client with the introduction of new processes and procedures; and overseeing the implementation and launch. David holds an Honours degree in Computer Science, a Masters in Transport Planning and Engineering, and is PRINCE2 certified. He is also accredited in Software Testing.
