Vince Gallo has 20 years of experience and throughout this time, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects including the Aviva Centre Tennis Stadium (Canada’s National Tennis Centre) at York University, the School of Medicine at the University of Waterloo, State Farm Insurance Aurora Operations Centre, McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business located in Burlington Ontario, and numerous LCBO projects located throughout the province.

Vince was instrumental in the selection of IBI as the Architect of Record for LCBO. Vince continues to manage projects involving both new-build and renovation of their many wine and liquor stores.

Val Vanchieri has been responsible for a significant body of work for the District of Columbia Courts. She developed the overarching concepts and schematic designs for many of the District of Columbia Courts projects. Over a period of more than 12 years, she has been responsible for numerous studies, comprehensive reports and high-level client interaction that have set the direction for ongoing work at the District of Columbia Courts.

She has an extensive background in feasibility studies; master planning; ; space planning; design intent documents; contract documents; furniture selection and procurement; punch-list inspections of furniture and final move coordination.

Upon joining IBI Group, Jill Mackay was tasked to develop Regional ITS architecture for a broad range of clients, including throughout the state of Washington. Through the facilitation of stakeholder workshops, Jill became adept at helping agencies identify a vision and strategic path for the identification, prioritization and implementation of innovative transportation technologies that would improve operational efficiencies and performance.

Beyond the planning phase, Jill has worked on fare collection, electronic toll collection and CAD/AVL system implementations from the initial needs assessment phase through to systems acceptance. Currently, Jill is leading IBI Group’s multidisciplinary Connected and Autonomous Vehicles practice, which is comprised of professionals dedicated to guiding our traffic and transit agency clients on how to plan, prepare and benefit from innovative autonomous technologies. A team from the CAV Working Group was recently a finalist in New York?s Driverless Future design challenge, which sought ideas on how automated vehicles could address urban growth issues in New York City.
