Celia Johnstone LEED AP is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in coordinating complex, multidisciplinary public-transit facility projects, as well as all facets of practice management. Celia has a portfolio of major transit infrastructure design projects, including underground, at-grade, and elevated transit facility design for the TTC, GTAA, and GO Transit. She is the lead architect for the new Redline LRT, the first subway system in Tel Aviv.

As the CEO of IBI Group and member of the Board of Directors, Scott Stewart is responsible for providing executive leadership to the company with a particular focus on the operational management and execution. Scott has been with the firm since the early 1980s, initially as a transportation engineer and planner, and grew to lead the development of the solutions sector. As CEO, he continues to be a proponent of technology-driven design — the ethos which underlies IBI Group’s project and product offerings.
Scott is active in the community and sits on the Board for the Transportation Association of Canada as well as ITS Canada, where he has fulfilled various roles including chair.
Scott has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Matt Colwill, BA.Sc, P.Eng, has 15 years of experience in the fields of road user safety and traffic operations. Matt has conducted operational and safety reviews for a range of public sector clients, at all levels of government, including the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, the City of Toronto, the City of Ottawa, York Region, the City of Waterloo, Transport Canada, and a number of private sector clients. These projects have involved safety and operational assessments of freeways, rural highways, urban and suburban arterials, and local roadways, and they have addressed the needs of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and specialty road users.

Matt is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and serves as the Transportation Safety Committee representative to the Sustainability Standing Committee. He is also an active participant in the Road Safety Committee of Ontario.

Matt has also published papers and presented at the Transportation Association of Canada annual meeting, addressing topics that include the safety impacts of freeway HOV lanes, the effectiveness of winter weather collision countermeasures, and designing streets to protect vulnerable road users.

Mar Granados is an architect with over ten years of experience and holds licenses both in Europe and the United States. She has been working as an architect in New York City since 2003 after graduating with a Masters in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. Neil Myers is a Licensed Architect and native New Yorker practicing in the construction and design field since 2002. Neil is a recent addition to the IBI Group and acts as the Zoning and Building Code Specialist for the office. He has extensive experience navigating and ushering projects through the bureaucratic review and approval processes of local zoning resolutions, building departments, landmarks commissions, and variance requests.

Neil has successfully designed and managed many complex projects such as: historic townhouse renovations, new apartment buildings, NYC restaurants, factory conversions, property subdivisions, high rise hotel renovations, rooftop bar spaces, office interiors, and zoning bulk and feasibility studies. During architecture school he was employed in custom product development for an architectural precast concrete facility in Long Island; this experience has fostered his respect fabrication processes, the limitation of materials and how we apply them in Architecture today.

John Perks is designated by PEO as a Consulting Engineer (Ontario) and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. He has over 25 years of experience as a project manager and senior engineer for a diversity of transportation and municipal projects involving feasibility studies, Class Environmental Assessments, functional, preliminary and final designs, contract preparation, and construction administration and inspection.

His project work includes both new and reconstruction of existing civil infrastructure. This broad experience across many municipalities has provided John with the ability to large, manage multidisciplinary projects and understand the complexities of public, political, approval agency and municipal pressures and requirements on a project.

John is also one of the few Region of Waterloo approved acoustical engineers and has completed the MOE noise assessment course as well as numerous seminars with expertise acoustical studies for both road and rail transportation, and stationary noise sources.

As designers, one of our key roles is to help our partners in construction, finance, operation, and maintenance find cost-effective and innovative solutions critical to the success of this model.

Fouad Mustafa is Global Director, P3 Infrastructure. He is a Professional Engineer and member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Consulting Engineers of Ontario, the Ontario Society of Engineers, and the American Public Transportation Association. He is also on the Board of Directors of Consulting Engineers of Ontario.

Fouad obtained a Master of Business Administration from York University and has more than 25 years of experience in the management, planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure and facilities with a focus on AFP/P3 projects. He has managed large infrastructure projects worth more than $1 billion, and has worked with a wide range of public and private sector clients throughout North America and overseas.

From 2006 through 2014 Steven served at Infrastructure Ontario, in a variety of leadership roles including Director, Special Initiatives; Vice President, Sales and Acquisitions; and Senior Vice President, Commercial Projects, where he led a series of transactions to monetize government assets in the transportation, remanufacturing, entertainment, rail and telecommunications sectors. Prior to 2006, he practiced law at Goodmans LLP. Steven earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Law degree (Distinction) from the University of Alberta. He is a former Editor of the Alberta Law Review.
