Adriana Davis, LEED GA, is a young, up and coming architectural designer in the New York City office housing studio with a commitment to bringing affordability and convenience back to our public spaces. Her recent successes at IBI include the AEC Trendsetters Habitat for Humanity Design Challenge, and the New York City Driverless Future Challenge. She was also awarded a prize in the Fairy Tales 2017 Competition, a project that explores the intersection between architectural narrative and graphic representation.

Peter Pillman holds degrees in both Environmental Studies and Architecture, which is the foundation to his more than 20 years of widespread experience in master planning and urban design projects. This breadth of knowledge and experience is a key factor in his level of comfort working in the multi-disciplined environment of land use planning and transit planning, producing master plans based on the key principles of Transit Oriented Development. Peter provides leadership and administration as part of the US West region, focusing on Utah, Texas, and Colorado. In addition to this role, he is also the US Lead for Living+.

Michael Nobrega is a Chartered Professional Accountant and currently the Chair of Ontario Centres of Excellence, an Ontario based organization that drives the commercialization of leading edge technologies across the transportation, communications and key market sectors. Michael was past President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Municipal Employees Pension System (OMERS), one of Canada’s largest pension funds, from 2007 to 2014. From 1998 to 2007, Michael was President and Chief Executive Officer of Borealis Infrastructure, the infrastructure investment entity of OMERS.

John Byrne is a leader in IBI Group?s Geomatics offering, specializing in Land Survey Services. He has been involved with virtually every new technology in surveying over the last 45 years, including first generation Satellite systems (Doppler), Offshore navigation, GPS and continues to be involved with the changes in technology with Drones and Digital scanning systems.John has been involved with the development of digital Cadastral bases across Canada and was involved in both the Parcel (Provincial) mapping of Alberta and the municipal mapping as well.

A key component of his expertise is related to helping develop methods with in the Land Titles system to bringing a project to market both delivery of title and separate financing of various components of a multi-use project. He has also been recognized as an expert witness by the Alberta Court of Queen’s bench as it relates to planning processes.

In addition to his role as Educational Facilities Practice Lead, he also serves as the managing principal of Northern California. He is responsible for guiding the operations and management of the San Jose, San Luis Obispo, and Bakersfield, California offices. Walter’s role as Managing Principal is multifaceted. He leads the successful execution of a wide variety of educational and civic projects while continuously challenging and guiding the professionals with whom he works to advance in their careers and strive for excellence. He has embraced this new people-centric role as an opportunity to focus on morale, culture, people, and learning.

Walter’s design portfolio features academic buildings, facility master plans, facility assessments, libraries, athletic facilities, and district administration buildings. He has completed planning and design services for a multitude of school districts located in Nevada, Texas, and California. Walter has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston and is a licensed architect.
