Ian Nelson joined IBI Group in 2001 and has diversified experience in the ICT and ITS industries, leading the planning, design, and integration for a diverse clientele in market sectors including government, transportation, transit, and education. Ian has global experience from work in over seven countries. Ian has experience working on all phases of a project life cycle, starting from business case development and strategic analysis, through to preliminary design, detailed design, procurement management and construction administration.

Specific knowledge and experience includes fibre optic communications, wireless communications, data centres, large operation centre, CCTV and video management systems, audio-visual systems, and intelligent building technologies.
