Graham Harris is an experienced architect and project director and has taken an active involvement in driving IBI Group?s design processes, ensuring heightened standards in architectural output and efficient working methods, including BIM & 3D Visualisation. Skilled at delivering all aspects of a project, he is particularly strong at executing innovative stakeholder consultation processes. He places collaborative working as the focus of his leadership, winning awards for outstanding team delivery and high client satisfaction.

In healthcare, he works alongside clients to transform their ‘model of care’ into an efficient and therapeutic healing environment, ensuing overall cost savings and improving service delivery. Graham is highly competent at meeting the design challenges posed by complex refurbishment works within a live hospital environment. His experience includes the development of complicated phasing plans to meet both clinical and construction requirements. With a rich background in healthcare design, Graham is very aware of Trust requirements, ensuring solutions address future flexibility, energy efficiency and most importantly reduced infection rates by introducing innovations such as the IBI Group ‘cruciform ward’.

In education, Graham has been exposed to a number of Government initiatives, including Building Schools for the Future and the Primary Capital programme. He has hands-on experience of the tight parameters specified by these schemes, responding with holistic solutions to safeguard design quality and exceed clients’ ‘value for money’ expectations.

Charles Finley brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications to IBI Group and is responsible for IBI Group’s brand, communications and digital strategy. Charles is also Co-founder of Code for Canada, the country’s leading civic-tech organization that brings design and technology together for the public good. He sits on the Steering Committee of Jane’s Walk, a global movement of free, locally-led city walking tours inspired by Jane Jacobs. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Accounting) from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Arts (Urban Studies) from Concordia University, and a Master of Arts (Communications and Culture) from York University.

Joseph Fu counts over 20 years of experience in global structural engineering, project management and supervision on numerous projects. His experience spans a variety of sectors, including commercial, government, health sciences, manufacturing, residential, sports and entertainment, and transit. He has extensive experience in various building codes and standards, and is knowledgeable and proficient in numerous structural design programs. Joseph’s current project work is focused on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT where he is the IBI Group structural team lead, providing leadership for the structural team, ensuring the project delivers high-quality work in accordance with technical requirements, budgets, construction strategies, and project milestones.

Richard Golledge is a qualified architect specialising in education and healthcare design. As a strong team leader, he has managed the design and delivery of projects under various public sector procurement routes and contracts, including the NEC Partnering contract. Richard is experienced in creating specialist learning environments for leading universities. Adept at delivering schemes from master planning to construction, he works closely with stakeholder groups to deliver the strategic vision. He understands how important the built environment is as a marketing tool for attracting students and has demonstrated this by developing a striking scheme at Cardiff University.

In healthcare, Richard has worked on a number of specialist and acute schemes. He works closely with Trusts to provide value for money.
In science, Richard has developed a very good understanding of laboratory planning and research space design, creating buildings that inspired collaboration, productivity and innovation. Richard has also been heavily involved in IBI’s ‘Four Labs Four Cities’ research project, a comparative study to define best practice features within laboratory spaces.

Richard graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, where he was awarded the Edward Loveluck Travelling Scholarship 2002. His experience also includes work in the residential sector, where he won a Regional RIBA Award for a one-off house in Malmesbury. His innovative approach to design has been supported by his keen interest in research and development.

In 2009, Richard was selected by the Design Commission for Wales, Royal Society of Architects Wales and the WSA to exhibit his work at the ‘Reflecting Wales 09:09’ exhibition which showcased work of the best of emerging architects in Wales. In 2010, Richard exhibited at the National Eisteddfod in Wales.

Caz Thomson has 20 years of commercial experience in systems architecture design and full lifecycle development within many disciplines, ranging from utilities management, through medical insurance to manufacturing and transportation systems. Caz has excellent technical expertise in a number of development platforms and significant experience in requirements analysis, system design and architecture, the management of large development teams and the delivery of mobile, web and system development projects. Caz also architected IBI Group’s Software and System Development processes and procedures in the UK, using the Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology. She currently co-manages the UK Systems team, which now numbers some 20 developers and specialists.

Barry Nathan has over 30 years of experience in both architectural and interior design, which has given him an enviable understanding of two areas of practice. His work is comprised of both large scale commercial clients and complex public spaces, including higher education and high-rise residential projects. Alternative design approaches have allowed Barry to provide very unique and creative solutions for progressive thinking clients. Jamie Douglas’s previous construction experience and interest in wood frame construction allowed him to fit naturally into the custom projects and complex low to mid-rise work undertaken by the firm. Over the past 20 years, Jamie has primarily focused on residential, resort clubhouses, office facilities, community libraries, private and public camp facilities, heritage renovations and several prestigious custom homes and cottages throughout Ontario and Quebec. He currently specializes in mid and high rise multi-unit and mixed use residential design for a variety of private developers and builders. Many of these higher density projects have low rise product associated with them, which benefit from Jamie’s low-rise experience.

In 2012, Jamie was awarded the prestigious Niagara Escarpment Achievement Award for Outstanding Property & Residential Design in harmony with the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

Peter Zurawel is the US Lead on Transit Facilities with over 35 years of professional experience on large-scale urban, government, corporate, and institutional projects. He is a professional architect and urban designer with a speciality in leading multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects requiring problem-solving for unique solutions. He has taken a special interest in the design of public spaces for transit facilities that unite transportation and land uses, which has been the solution for clients who require context-sensitive design solutions for both the urban built fabric and recreational landmarks.

His clients include major North American cities and their transit agencies, as well as the National Parks Service of the US Department of the Interior.
