Celia Johnstone LEED AP is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in coordinating complex, multidisciplinary public-transit facility projects, as well as all facets of practice management. Celia has a portfolio of major transit infrastructure design projects, including underground, at-grade, and elevated transit facility design for the TTC, GTAA, and GO Transit. She is the lead architect for the new Redline LRT, the first subway system in Tel Aviv.

Scott has been with the firm since the early 1980s, initially as a transportation engineer and planner, and grew to lead the development of the solutions sector. As CEO, he continues to be a proponent of technology-driven design — the ethos which underlies IBI Group’s project and product offerings.
Scott is active in the community and sits on the Board for the Transportation Association of Canada as well as ITS Canada, where he has fulfilled various roles including chair.
Scott has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Jorge Arevalo has 25 years of experience in the aerospace and electrical consulting industries and has been involved in electrical specifications, schematic and detail design for all electrical building systems for commercial, industrial and government buildings. He develops projects with accuracy, efficiency and within time limits and ever responsive to client needs, Jorge is able to adjust design and find solutions to fit within budget constraints. For the last few years Jorge has been leading IBI Group?s electrical teams in the transit field including work at multiple TTC stations, Metrolinx layovers at Mimico and Lewis Road and the Metrolinx James Station in Hamilton. Most recently Jorge has led a ten-man electrical team for four stations on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project.

Peter Spal, P.Eng has over 28 years of experience as a Project Manager and Technical Specialist in the field of stormwater management planning, stormwater master servicing and drainage projects, including detailed design, contract administration and inspection. His experience includes various projects ranging from stormwater management studies and infrastructure projects to master drainage plans and flood analysis, which includes numerous projects for the City of Ottawa and the former Region Municipality of Ottawa, Carleton as well as private developers. He has completed numerous stormwater management projects related to site plans for urban development and commercial sites for both infield and greenfield sites.

Peter has been at the forefront of developing creative stormwater management solutions either by generating new solutions or upgrading of the existing aging infrastructure.
