He is a Certified Public Accountant and Master of Business Administration with 15 years of financial experience, specializing in increasing the efficiency of companies. During his career, Tomer has been involved in IPOs, investments, operational management, strategic consulting and financial modeling. Sam has over eight years of experience working with transit real-time passenger information systems and CAD/AVL systems. Sam leads the implementation and operations and maintenance of IBI Group’s transit data suite of software for clients including TransLink (Vancouver), Los Angeles Metro, and RTD (Denver). This suite of software includes TRANSIT-alerts, which is used to enter, manage, and disseminate service alerts, and TRANSIT-realtime, which aggregates, manages, and disseminates real-time locations and predictions. Sam also has a focus on real-time passenger information systems for rail and has designed and developed light rail and commuter rail real-time passenger information systems for RTD (Denver), SunRail (Orlando), and NFTA (Buffalo). Prior to joining IBI Group in 2015, Sam worked for the MBTA (Boston) for over four years. At the MBTA he designed and developed software that generated real-time arrival predictions for the subway lines and published the predictions on countdown signs and for app developers, served as system administrator for the bus CAD/AVL system, and managed the MBTA’s GTFS data. Sam has a Master’s degree in Transportation and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.

Anita Leonoff joined IBI Group shortly after graduating from UBC’s Architecture School and learned quickly. In the mid 1980s, Anita began the renovation work on the Hotel Vancouver, one of her longest running projects and one she continues to work on to this day. In the 1990s, Anita took on the local work for Holt Renfrew which at the time was renovation work. This later turned into a new store for Vancouver, followed by Calgary, and a number in Ontario and Quebec, which is a testament to her work. In this role, he ensured that delivery teams had consistent project controls, reporting requirements, resources and management systems to successfully deliver the: Capital Program, including the GO Transit expansion Toronto subway projects Hurontario LRT in Mississauga/Brampton Toronto’s Finch West and Eglinton Crosstown LRT He earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Queens University, which led him to a career at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation in roles of increasing responsibility. These included Chief Engineer/Executive Director and Assistant Deputy Minister, Provincial Highways Management, a role he held until his departure in 2016. Gerry is currently President of the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Foundation. Gerry held various roles within TAC, including President from 2014 to 2016 and was a past Chair of the Chief Engineers Council.
