Water Resources Management

Our expertise in water resources engineering addresses a variety of needs. We provide methods for flood prevention and control, erosion control, watershed and stormwater management, improved drainage and water conveyance, and the management of river ice.

We have engineers, hydrologists, technologists, and technicians using state-of-the-art techniques to supply accurate analysis of data and to assist in the problem solving process. Our experts develop strategies for resolving water resources issues, discharge engineering design expertise, and manage the construction of stream or river channelization, dike projects, drainage culverts, shoreline protection, dams, and other hydraulic structures.

IBI delivers engineering, environmental, infrastructure development, construction and facility operation and maintenance services world-wide. Our environmental and engineering professionals serve commercial, industrial and institutional clients, as well as federal, provincial, and municipal agencies. Our expertise includes water and wastewater treatment, hydraulic modeling, civil works, mechanical, municipal infrastructure, systems automation (including design, integration, manufacturing, installation and commissioning), electrical, instrumentation, automation and SCADA systems, as well as design build construction projects. Our staff also provides services in systems design, CAD, PLC and computer programming. At IBI, we provide our services in many ways: design engineering; turnkey supplier of automation systems; or as subcontractors on large projects.

In the field of deammonification and nitrogen removal, we are working closely together with our Swiss partner DEMON GmbH.
