Intelligent systems use state-of-the-art information technology to improve, automate, and optimize the physical and social infrastructure of our cities. They provide the brains for the smart city of today, and the smart city of tomorrow.
Our intelligent systems practice focuses on two main streams: communications and transportation.
Our communications systems engineering practice was born out of our involvement in the design and integration of freeway traffic management and tolling systems, and grew quickly in late 1990s to support an expanding and increasingly diverse client base in the areas of strategic planning, design, and construction administration.
The emergence of low-cost and robust fiber optic and microwave Ethernet-based systems has transformed the industry and accelerated convergence. Our communications engineering practice embraces this transformation, broadening its expertise to include an in-depth understanding of a broad range of communications technologies and hardware.
