John Byrne is a leader in IBI Group’s Geomatics offering, specializing in Land Survey Services. He has been involved with virtually every new technology in surveying over the last 45 years, including first generation Satellite systems (Doppler), Offshore navigation, GPS and continues to be involved with the changes in technology with Drones and Digital scanning systems. John has been involved with the development of digital Cadastral bases across Canada and was involved in both the Parcel (Provincial) mapping of Alberta and the municipal mapping as well. A key component of his expertise is related to helping develop methods with in the Land Titles system to bringing a project to market both delivery of title and separate financing of various components of a multi-use project. He has also been recognized as an expert witness by the Alberta Court of Queen’s bench as it relates to planning processes.

Ms. Boucher has extensive experience in ITS, transportation planning and engineering. As a 20+ year veteran of MassDOT Highway Division and former Director of ITS, she was instrumental in the planning, design, and implementation of the ITS Program in Massachusetts. As the Managing Director of KCUS from 2015-2019, she worked on several ITS related projects both in Massachusetts and overseas. She is the project manager for the MassDOT Statewide RTTM System and the MassDOT Smart Work Zone Manager Application. As a former public employee, she brings a practical and operational approach to projects. She has been part of teams and led teams that have developed strategic plans geared toward improving safety using ITS, concepts of operation, feasibility studies, safety and mobility studies, performance management and software development. After leaving MassDOT, she spent two years working at the National Volpe Transportation Center on ITS, traffic incident management, and the National Park Services safety program. During her time at KCUS she worked on projects which included providing a technical ITS program plan to the Colombian Ministry of Transport, a Transportation Strategic Framework for the King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, and a Smart Work Zone implementation tool for FHWA.

Robyn Brown is the lead of the Toronto office’s Real Estate, Economics & Planning team, as well as a member of IBI’s Placemaking group. As a dedicated professional, her project work is geared to giving her clients the best advice possible. Her work transcends a broad spectrum of real estate advice, including highest and best-use studies/disposition strategies; economic development strategies; growth management; market studies; feasibility studies; community services and facilities studies; economic impact analysis; demographic analysis and related skills. Prior to joining IBI Group, Robyn worked in commercial real estate specializing in industrial leasing and land disposition. Robyn has a BA in Political Science and an MA in History from the University of Toronto, along with a Masters in Planning from Ryerson University. She is involved in a wide range of external organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (including their Women’s Leadership Initiative and Mentorship Committee), is on the Board of Directors for Toronto CREW, and is an active member of BILD. Mr. King is an architect, planner and parametric/computational designer with two decades of experience in designing cities. He draws from a background of architecture, spatial analysis, algorithmic design and optimization, active transportation and sustainable land use. The ability to use complex datasets to make informed decisions across IBI’s sectors is central to his work in designing cities and architecture.
