IBI Group’s Software developers, Nathan Goodfellow and Craig Miles-Wilde, discuss the approach used to bring the character of botIBI, the firm’s new brand persona, into the chatbot user experience.


Nathan and Craig are Software Developers in the Intelligence services team at the Toronto headquarters. Currently, the pair is supporting the toll systems group, specializing in backend/frontend feature development, the integration of devices and systems, automation testing, and DevOps work. Nathan and Craig co-developed IBI’s first chatbot, working closely with other members of the botIBI design team to bring the firm’s new brand persona into the user experience. Nathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where he focused on Mechatronic Systems, and Craig is a Lighthouse Labs Backend Web Development bootcamp graduate.
