Ross is a senior architect and learning environment planner with more than 30 years of experience, with the past 20 years specializing in educational architecture. He is highly experienced in all phases of projects, from visioning through to final completion; and in a wide variety of project sizes, including new construction, renovation, historic preservation and reuse, and STEM focused schools. A seasoned advocate for K-12 education, he has seen two of his projects recognized by the CEFPI (now A4LE) James D. MacConnell Awards committee. Ross is passionate about using design to connect students to their learning and natural environment and is a strong proponent of inclusive and culturally relevant community engagement for schools. Wendy is a recognised expert in the development and implementation of operational procedures for highway network management. Prior to joining IBI Group, she worked for Gloucestershire Police, supervising two control rooms, and for Highways England’s Traffic Officer Service, managing incidents both on the network and from the Regional Control Centre. She managed Highways England’s National Occupational Standards Programme, which she also developed into a formal Traffic Management Diploma, accredited by City and Guilds. Since joining IBI Group in 2010, Wendy has advised clients such as Glasgow City Council and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), as well as continuing her role as technical advisor to Highways England. She has provided specialist support to Smart Motorway operations and led projects including the Stationary Vehicle Detection Trial and the development of Smart Motorway Driver Information Requirements. Wendy currently coordinates IBI’s work to enhance Highways England’s signalling policy and capability. She is integral to expanding the firm’s services to other highway network managers across the UK and to the emergency services.

Richard Golledge is a qualified architect specialising in education and healthcare design. As a strong team leader, he has managed the design and delivery of projects under various public sector procurement routes and contracts, including the NEC Partnering contract. Richard is experienced in creating specialist learning environments for leading universities. Adept at delivering schemes from master planning to construction, he works closely with stakeholder groups to deliver the strategic vision. He understands how important the built environment is as a marketing tool for attracting students and has demonstrated this by developing a striking scheme at Cardiff University. In 2009, Richard was selected by the Design Commission for Wales, Royal Society of Architects Wales and the WSA to exhibit his work at the ‘Reflecting Wales 09:09’ exhibition which showcased work of the best of emerging architects in Wales.
