Caz Thomson has 20 years of commercial experience in systems architecture design and full lifecycle development within many disciplines, ranging from utilities management, through medical insurance to manufacturing and transportation systems. A successful project is usually the result of the close cooperation and team work between the owner, the architect, the engineers, the contractor, and design and construction professionals.
Mark Bendix is a Director with over 35 years of experience in the management, direction and coordination of large technical groups. He has an Electrical Engineering background and has been responsible for the evaluation, planning, design and maintenance of industrial, commercial and institutional facilities across a wide cross section of these sectors. Having since branched out to lend his expertise towards the growth of the US Building Sector, he has been directing design on a broader range of project designations and P3 pursuits. In addition to his project commitments, he has been instrumental in the evolution of the IBI Design Excellence Committee, intended to showcase the value of design and the collective talents within the firm by promoting innovative thinking, mentoring, integration of technology formats, project reviews, award selections and submissions for publication. Warren has a keen sensibility for detail and craft, cultivated through his extensive hands-on experience of innovative structural solutions in wood framing, as illustrated in his designs of private houses and children’s camps while in Partnership within his former practice. He is an honours graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, a registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional, as well as an abstract artist, having shown his work across Canada, Europe, and the US.
