He has served in leadership positions in government and industry organizations, including the University of Greensboro Development Board and the Board of Design Corps. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the College of Design in Raleigh, North Carolina. His service to the community also includes leadership in Jobs For Life, Raleigh Men’s Shelter, and Project Literacy. He is a LEED AP design professional and has designed both LEED Silver and Gold buildings.
