Although Marsha Bousquet has 26 years of experience related to urban infrastructure development from planning through implementation, since 2009, Marsha?s focus has been entirely dedicated to AFP/P3-type projects. Her role extends from the commercial management of P3 projects, design team management, bid management during RFQ/RFP stage, and instilling best practices in delivery. Prior to that, she undertook master planning and entitlements for major redevelopment projects in Canada and the United States that have reshaped development patterns to take advantage of public transit, contributing to more sustainable city building.

Her professional experience in planning major infill, redevelopment projects involving the transformation of industrial lands to mixed-use, Transit Oriented Developments; master site planning for light rail and commuter rail transit stations; transportation planning studies for urban transit; and securing entitlements related to multi-tower high rise residential and mixed-use projects gives her a broad and unique perspective into design team work on AFP/P3 projects.

John Perks is designated by PEO as a Consulting Engineer (Ontario) and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. He has over 25 years of experience as a project manager and senior engineer for a diversity of transportation and municipal projects involving feasibility studies, Class Environmental Assessments, functional, preliminary and final designs, contract preparation, and construction administration and inspection.

His project work includes both new and reconstruction of existing civil infrastructure. This broad experience across many municipalities has provided John with the ability to large, manage multidisciplinary projects and understand the complexities of public, political, approval agency and municipal pressures and requirements on a project.

John is also one of the few Region of Waterloo approved acoustical engineers and has completed the MOE noise assessment course as well as numerous seminars with expertise acoustical studies for both road and rail transportation, and stationary noise sources.

Richard Golledge is a qualified architect specialising in education and healthcare design. As a strong team leader, he has managed the design and delivery of projects under various public sector procurement routes and contracts, including the NEC Partnering contract. Richard is experienced in creating specialist learning environments for leading universities. Adept at delivering schemes from master planning to construction, he works closely with stakeholder groups to deliver the strategic vision. He understands how important the built environment is as a marketing tool for attracting students and has demonstrated this by developing a striking scheme at Cardiff University.

In healthcare, Richard has worked on a number of specialist and acute schemes. He works closely with Trusts to provide value for money.
In science, Richard has developed a very good understanding of laboratory planning and research space design, creating buildings that inspired collaboration, productivity and innovation. Richard has also been heavily involved in IBI’s ‘Four Labs Four Cities’ research project, a comparative study to define best practice features within laboratory spaces.

Richard graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, where he was awarded the Edward Loveluck Travelling Scholarship 2002. His experience also includes work in the residential sector, where he won a Regional RIBA Award for a one-off house in Malmesbury. His innovative approach to design has been supported by his keen interest in research and development.

In 2009, Richard was selected by the Design Commission for Wales, Royal Society of Architects Wales and the WSA to exhibit his work at the ‘Reflecting Wales 09:09’ exhibition which showcased work of the best of emerging architects in Wales. In 2010, Richard exhibited at the National Eisteddfod in Wales.

Jannis Nassoulis has more then 18 years of experience in the infrastructure construction and transportation industry. After he successfully managed the design, installation, testing and commissioning of the first large scale ITS project in Greece, he was involved in motorway operations undertaking the role of the Tunnel Safety Officer of the Athens ring road. He coordinated large scale exercises and fire tests in tunnels.

In 2007, Jannis organized the operation and maintenance of the 230km long motorway concession project, Aegean Motorway, as Chief Operations Officer. Holding the position of the COO for nine years, he managed a major operational crisis involving a dramatic rockfall incident, resulting to longlasting international arbitration procedures, legal disputes and claims. He also actively participated in a successful project restructuring process, necessary to mitigate severe problems resulting from the Greek financial crisis, earning serious experience in PPP project financing, contractual arrangements and negotiation practices.
