Ana-Francisca de la Mora C., LEED AP, is a licensed architect in both Ontario and Mexico with almost 20 years of experience. Her work is characterized by its innovative, high-quality architectural design with a deep commitment to making healthy places that are accessible and inclusive. Over the last decade, she has focused on large scale transit stations and facilities. She has played an integral role in the successful design and execution of Toronto’s Finch West Station, CN Tower Plaza, Stoney Bus Facility and currently is the lead architect for Keelesdale Station for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. She has also collaborated on international projects, such as design guidelines for the Mobility Hubs (CETRAM) in Mexico City and technical review of the new BRT in Puebla, Mexico on behalf of the World Bank.

Ana-Francisca has served in various committees including the ULI, Harbourfront Centre and UWC alumni and is an active member of the Toronto Society of Architects. Her speaking engagements include talks and workshops at IIDEX, Ryerson University, York University, McMaster University, National University of Mexico (UNAM) and National Arts Centre (CNA) in Mexico

Min Seung Shin is an integral part of the transit architecture group where he continually refines his knowledge, management and communication skills with each successive project. Before joining IBI Group, Min worked in France, South Korea and in cities in Europe, such as Rome and Barcelona. He worked as part of the design team for international projects such as Philharmonie de Paris la Villette, Las Vegas Atlantis, the competition winning proposal for urban renewal of La Roche-sur-Yon (France), and the competition winning proposal for Auditorium de Saint Cyprien (France). He is a member of the French Architectural Association with a government issued diploma.

Anita Leonoff joined IBI Group shortly after graduating from UBC’s Architecture School and learned quickly. In the mid 1980s, Anita began the renovation work on the Hotel Vancouver, one of her longest running projects and one she continues to work on to this day. In the 1990s, Anita took on the local work for Holt Renfrew which at the time was renovation work. This later turned into a new store for Vancouver, followed by Calgary, and a number in Ontario and Quebec, which is a testament to her work. Anita’s areas of specialty include institutional and hospitality facilities design, retail and office tenant fit-ups, heritage renovations, and the management of the approvals and public consultation processes.

Gene Simmons initially worked on the contractor?s side, learning hands-on experience in carpentry, surveying, concrete formwork and placement. Moving into management, Gene worked as a project superintendent, estimator, project manager and handled client relations. He shifted to the architectural side almost 30 years ago and has worked as the Director of Field Services since 2000.

His practical experience is vitally important to maintaining communication among project team members and IBI Group’s field staff taking projects seamlessly from design through to construction.
