John Bayley provides over 30 years of qualified professional experience in the areas of environmental study, preliminary design, detailed design, and contract administration of municipal servicing, transportation, urban and rural infrastructure upgrading projects, and storm water management facilities. John has also managed both transportation and municipal engineering teams and divisions during his time.

John has managed and provided technical expertise on multiple Class Environmental Assessment studies and detailed design projects, including route alignment/location, transportation system expansion/upgrading and servicing projects, as well as site and subdivision land development and construction administration.

In addition to consulting engineering, John has also managed several projects for a large Ontario-based sewer and watermain contractor, group leadership in the transportation engineering field and technical discipline mentorship in the consulting engineering field. John has researched and created municipal design standards at the local and regional municipal levels and has applied experience with municipal infrastructure management systems.

He has worked hard to successfully collaborate a spectrum of skills within the practice, including architecture, urban regeneration and masterplanning to ensure IBI Group’s clients continually receive a comprehensive, high quality service.
