Peter Pillman holds degrees in both Environmental Studies and Architecture, which is the foundation to his more than 20 years of widespread experience in master planning and urban design projects. This breadth of knowledge and experience is a key factor in his level of comfort working in the multi-disciplined environment of land use planning and transit planning, producing master plans based on the key principles of Transit Oriented Development. Richard Golledge is a qualified architect specialising in education and healthcare design. As a strong team leader, he has managed the design and delivery of projects under various public sector procurement routes and contracts, including the NEC Partnering contract. Richard is experienced in creating specialist learning environments for leading universities. Adept at delivering schemes from master planning to construction, he works closely with stakeholder groups to deliver the strategic vision. He understands how important the built environment is as a marketing tool for attracting students and has demonstrated this by developing a striking scheme at Cardiff University.

In healthcare, Richard has worked on a number of specialist and acute schemes. He works closely with Trusts to provide value for money.
In science, Richard has developed a very good understanding of laboratory planning and research space design, creating buildings that inspired collaboration, productivity and innovation. Richard has also been heavily involved in IBI’s ‘Four Labs Four Cities’ research project, a comparative study to define best practice features within laboratory spaces.

Richard graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, where he was awarded the Edward Loveluck Travelling Scholarship 2002. His experience also includes work in the residential sector, where he won a Regional RIBA Award for a one-off house in Malmesbury. His innovative approach to design has been supported by his keen interest in research and development.

In 2009, Richard was selected by the Design Commission for Wales, Royal Society of Architects Wales and the WSA to exhibit his work at the ‘Reflecting Wales 09:09’ exhibition which showcased work of the best of emerging architects in Wales. In 2010, Richard exhibited at the National Eisteddfod in Wales.

Rebecca is a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council and an Architects-in-School Program Member with the Architectural Foundation of Oregon.  She played an integral role in the successful completion of award-winning LEED Gold projects including Parkrose Middle School Replacement, Sandy High School, and Trillium Creek Primary School. Rebecca was also involved in the design of the Snohomish Aquatic Center, a truly unique facility north of Seattle.

Jalil is an Architect with AIBC on the IBI Living+ team. His specialty is residential and mixed-use high-rise projects and hotels. Jalil has 20 years of experience including more than seven years with IBI Group. His key strengths and expertise are in preliminary design, design development, construction documents, and field services/contract administration. He does a good job of mentoring team members and maintaining a dedicated team in any situation. He has built and maintained professional relationships with clients and consultant teams while exceeding clients’ satisfaction levels. His notable projects include the Bellevue for Cressey Development in West Vancouver, the Pier Development for Pinnacle International in North Vancouver, and Parcel 18.2 of the River District Development for Wesgroup in Vancouver.

Jalil has been an oral review panelist with AIBC and is a volunteer member of the AIBC’s Post-Disaster Response Committee for Post-Disaster Safety Evaluation of Buildings & Infrastructure group. Celia Johnstone LEED AP is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in coordinating complex, multidisciplinary public-transit facility projects, as well as all facets of practice management. Celia has a portfolio of major transit infrastructure design projects, including underground, at-grade, and elevated transit facility design for the TTC, GTAA, and GO Transit. She is the lead architect for the new Redline LRT, the first subway system in Tel Aviv.
