Anita Leonoff joined IBI Group shortly after graduating from UBC’s Architecture School and learned quickly. In the mid 1980s, Anita began the renovation work on the Hotel Vancouver, one of her longest running projects and one she continues to work on to this day. In the 1990s, Anita took on the local work for Holt Renfrew which at the time was renovation work. This later turned into a new store for Vancouver, followed by Calgary, and a number in Ontario and Quebec, which is a testament to her work. Anita’s areas of specialty include institutional and hospitality facilities design, retail and office tenant fit-ups, heritage renovations, and the management of the approvals and public consultation processes.

Min Seung Shin is an integral part of the transit architecture group where he continually refines his knowledge, management and communication skills with each successive project. He was a core team member for the successful design development of Eglinton Crosstown LRT, Edmonton LRT and Ottawa LRT. He is currently managing one of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT stations. Before joining IBI Group, Min worked in France, South Korea and in cities in Europe, such as Rome and Barcelona. He worked as part of the design team for international projects such as Philharmonie de Paris la Villette, Las Vegas Atlantis, the competition winning proposal for urban renewal of La Roche-sur-Yon (France), and the competition winning proposal for Auditorium de Saint Cyprien (France). He is a member of the French Architectural Association with a government issued diploma.

His strength lies in his ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in different contexts with well-rounded knowledge in all modes of urban transportation. His signature projects include analytics to infer origin and destination matrices and improve bus schedules in the Basque Country, Spain and outlining the Mobility as a Service vision for Chattanooga, ennessee. He is currently defining intelligent infrastructure for dynamic platform allocation at Metrolinx’s Union Station Bus Terminal.
