Bruce Mori has more than 20 years of consulting experience that spans the globe. He specializes in transportation systems planning and travel demand forecasting for major metropolitan areas and Landmark Events with a focus on rapid transit systems, integrated transportation land use planning, and sustainable transportation principles. He has responsibility within IBI Group for transportation planning, travel demand forecasting, transportation-related environmental assessments, travel demand forecasting, toll traffic and revenue studies, and rapid transit/LRT and road/highway design. Bruce’s experience includes major studies across North America and in the rapidly developing cities of the Middle East.

John Knape is a qualified Architect with over 30 years of post-qualification experience and has been especially committed to the design of healthcare facilities and building types which fulfil social needs. His experience covers work in both the public and private sectors and he can draw upon a thorough knowledge of relevant design standards including Department of Health Building Notes and Technical Memoranda. John has experience of a wide range of procurement methods including traditional and two-stage tendering, design & build, partnering, management contracting and PFI and in his role as the practice’s Frameworks Director, has been instrumental in leading successful bid processes to secure IBI’s position as Primary Supply Chain Members on all three UK national healthcare Frameworks.

John has recently led teams on a number of projects in both the acute and primary care sectors, including the award winning development at Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool. John is keen to pioneer innovative design solutions such as the “Barn Theatre” concept, but places great emphasis on excellent relationships with client and contractor as the key to a successful project.

Neil Murphy has extensive experience directing complex public sector projects under a range of contract and procurement routes. He is a very strong leader, working alongside contractors, consortia and supply-chains to consistently deliver project milestones and add value to the overall service offering. His ‘can-do’ ethos and the trademark teamwork he established with the multiple stakeholders of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital & Royal Hospital for Children was a key factor in its success. Neil has helped Trusts to deliver acute, primary care and mental health schemes and has good knowledge of the key design and operational drivers to develop a successful solution.

He is competent to deal with challenges such as phasing, reducing environmental impact on live sites, health and safety as well as managing the progress of simultaneous projects at various locations. Neil is one of the key practice representatives for P21+, notably delivering schemes such as the award winning Personality Disorder Unit in East London.
