Larry Baldwin is a multi-modal (speech and touch input) interaction design specialist who has designed and deployed mobile, telematics, web and in-home speech, touch-screen and web-browser applications for the past 12 years. He is a visionary in multi-modal application design with three patents to his name (one pending). Larry lead the interaction design of unique Alaska 511 and South Carolina 511 mobile websites and was the interaction designer for the Florida 511 iPhone application. He was also the lead designer of telematics (in-car) applications such as the Pioneer in-dash system (AVIC-Z1 In-Dash HDD Navigation and Multimedia AV Receiver with DVD). Upon joining IBI Group, Jill Mackay was tasked to develop Regional ITS architecture for a broad range of clients, including throughout the state of Washington. Through the facilitation of stakeholder workshops, Jill became adept at helping agencies identify a vision and strategic path for the identification, prioritization and implementation of innovative transportation technologies that would improve operational efficiencies and performance.

Beyond the planning phase, Jill has worked on fare collection, electronic toll collection and CAD/AVL system implementations from the initial needs assessment phase through to systems acceptance. Currently, Jill is leading IBI Group’s multidisciplinary Connected and Autonomous Vehicles practice, which is comprised of professionals dedicated to guiding our traffic and transit agency clients on how to plan, prepare and benefit from innovative autonomous technologies. A team from the CAV Working Group was recently a finalist in New York?s Driverless Future design challenge, which sought ideas on how automated vehicles could address urban growth issues in New York City.

Matt Clementson is a graduate of the Welsh School of Architecture, where he has also taught 3D visualisation techniques and skills. He initially joined IBI Group in the IT Department but leveraged his previous experience to establish IBI Group UK’s in-house 3D visualization department, managing a small team of artists producing a wide range of 3D visual output for IBI Group projects. The department recently started experimenting with 3D printing and Rapid Prototyping technologies, which allow architects to successfully communicate design solutions, ultimately helping clients in their decision making process.
Matt?s foundation in IT support and training was a stepping stone in developing a thorough understanding of Codebook, ADB and project management techniques, as well as 3D and 2D illustration. He is also proficient in architectural animation, high-end renders and 2D concept stage illustrations, using the latest software to bring architectural solutions to life.
