He has worked across North America, leading projects through planning activities such as needs assessments and conceptual designs, specification and RFP development, procurement, and design and testing during implementation.

He has worked with bus, rail, and demand response transit systems including new dispatch and vehicle location systems for the Toronto Transit Commission and GO rail, advanced fare systems in London and Milwaukee, and the regional transit information site (triplinx.ca) for the Greater Toronto Area.

Mr. Reid is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, with over 40 years’ experience. He was Audit Leader for KPMG LLP in the Greater Toronto Area from 2008 to 2014. He has extensive experience in auditing as well as the management of professional service organizations, and has experience in strategic planning, development and growth management in all business sectors and industries, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, technology and health care.

Mr. Reid is a founding member and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics, which supports physics research, training and outreach throughout the world. Mr. Reid served as chair of six hospital boards and two colleges across Canada. Mr. Reid received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Aditya joined IBI Group in 2008 and has over ten years of experience working in diverse projects involving transportation planning, toll systems and ITS. He has been instrumental in the implementation of the toll and ATMS work in India right from the first set of projects, including GMR ATMS and Toll Management Systems. Further, he plays a critical role in the global support team of ATMS and 511 projects where he has been responsible for leading the support team from India. Aditya has been able to demonstrate a comprehensive technical skill set across diverse projects from a design and implementation perspective. Caz Thomson has 20 years of commercial experience in systems architecture design and full lifecycle development within many disciplines, ranging from utilities management, through medical insurance to manufacturing and transportation systems. Caz has excellent technical expertise in a number of development platforms and significant experience in requirements analysis, system design and architecture, the management of large development teams and the delivery of mobile, web and system development projects. Caz also architected IBI Group’s Software and System Development processes and procedures in the UK, using the Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology. She currently co-manages the UK Systems team, which now numbers some 20 developers and specialists.

Sam has over eight years of experience working with transit real-time passenger information systems and CAD/AVL systems. Sam leads the implementation and operations and maintenance of IBI Group’s transit data suite of software for clients including TransLink (Vancouver), Los Angeles Metro, and RTD (Denver). This suite of software includes TRANSIT-alerts, which is used to enter, manage, and disseminate service alerts, and TRANSIT-realtime, which aggregates, manages, and disseminates real-time locations and predictions. Sam also has a focus on real-time passenger information systems for rail and has designed and developed light rail and commuter rail real-time passenger information systems for RTD (Denver), SunRail (Orlando), and NFTA (Buffalo). Prior to joining IBI Group in 2015, Sam worked for the MBTA (Boston) for over four years. At the MBTA he designed and developed software that generated real-time arrival predictions for the subway lines and published the predictions on countdown signs and for app developers, served as system administrator for the bus CAD/AVL system, and managed the MBTA’s GTFS data. Sam has a Master’s degree in Transportation and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
