Manish joined IBI in 2007 and has 15 years of experience. He has been leading the toll system and traffic system implementation projects in India and has been active on the consulting assignments in transit ITS, smart cites solutions and is trained on world bank procurement processes. Some of the notable projects on which Manish has played a critical role include being a project manager for the Bangalore Elevated Toll System, Bhubaneswar Smart City ICOMC program management, procurement expert on the Shendra Smart City – AURIC, transit lead on Hubli Dharwad BRT system and Indore BRT system, and implementation lead on the Hyderabad ITMS project. He has been instrumental in building the operations and maintenance practice in India for the toll and traffic management systems. He is also actively involved with the IBI Smart City Platform team.

As US Lead, Infrastructure, David Chow is responsible for the region’s operational results, including financial performance, professional and technical work, staff development, and client satisfaction. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Civil Engineering) from the University of California at Irvine and is both a registered Professional Engineer (Civil) and a certified Planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is a licensed engineer in California, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, and North Carolina, and is nationally certified by AICP as a planner in North America.

David has over 25 years of experience in engineering, planning, and urban design. He has managed major investment studies, complex transportation and land-use projects, Transit Oriented Development projects, as well as the design of local and regional transit systems, and technical work for environmental impact studies.

Jannis Nassoulis has more then 18 years of experience in the infrastructure construction and transportation industry. After he successfully managed the design, installation, testing and commissioning of the first large scale ITS project in Greece, he was involved in motorway operations undertaking the role of the Tunnel Safety Officer of the Athens ring road. He coordinated large scale exercises and fire tests in tunnels.

In 2007, Jannis organized the operation and maintenance of the 230km long motorway concession project, Aegean Motorway, as Chief Operations Officer. Holding the position of the COO for nine years, he managed a major operational crisis involving a dramatic rockfall incident, resulting to longlasting international arbitration procedures, legal disputes and claims. He also actively participated in a successful project restructuring process, necessary to mitigate severe problems resulting from the Greek financial crisis, earning serious experience in PPP project financing, contractual arrangements and negotiation practices.

Wendy is a recognised expert in the development and implementation of operational procedures for highway network management. Prior to joining IBI Group, she worked for Gloucestershire Police, supervising two control rooms, and for Highways England’s Traffic Officer Service, managing incidents both on the network and from the Regional Control Centre. She managed Highways England’s National Occupational Standards Programme, which she also developed into a formal Traffic Management Diploma, accredited by City and Guilds.

Since joining IBI Group in 2010, Wendy has advised clients such as Glasgow City Council and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), as well as continuing her role as technical advisor to Highways England. She has provided specialist support to Smart Motorway operations and led projects including the Stationary Vehicle Detection Trial and the development of Smart Motorway Driver Information Requirements. Wendy currently coordinates IBI’s work to enhance Highways England’s signalling policy and capability. She is integral to expanding the firm’s services to other highway network managers across the UK and to the emergency services.
