Every building has its own idiosyncratic constraints of context, site, program, budget, and vocabulary. The challenge is to successfully resolve them into a gracefully crafted architectural composition. Our role as designers is to ensure that each building has its own personality and responds appropriately to its urban context. This is what we do best.

Mansoor Kazerouni is a registered architect and has led the IBI Group design team on some of the firm’s most prestigious residential, hotel, office, institutional, and complex mixed-use projects. His work is characterized by thoughtfulness, design excellence, and attention to detail. Mansoor’s contribution to the urban environment has been acknowledged through awards, publications, and appointments to a number of Urban Design Advisory Panels including the cities of Mississauga, Markham and Vaughan. He actively contributes to the architectural discourse in Toronto as a guest speaker at professional forums and a guest critic at architectural schools.

Mansoor was also Program Co-chair and an Advisory Board Member of ULI Toronto. He has a diploma in Architecture from the Academy of Architecture in Mumbai, and a Masters degree In Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.

Heidi Rose

Heidi Rose is a team design lead with well over a decade of experience in the field of Interiors. She specializes in conceptual design in both hospitality and high-rise residential interiors. With her experience she has developed a keen eye for detail with the utmost attention to quality and design, and has the ability to establish and identify creativity in each new opportunity.

Heidi’s strengths lie in concept through to construction focusing on building honest client relationships, while maintaining the overall design intent and direction. She has the ability to provide creative design solutions that adapt seamlessly to aesthetic, and project goals. Her design approach is to collaboratively provide tasteful, and thoughtful interiors that are relevant and cultivated.

Some of Heidi’s experience is built from working on the Public Hotel in Chicago, the Editions Hotel in Miami, and the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City to name a few during her growth at Yabu Pushelberg. IBI Group initiatives have brought her multiple high-rise residential opportunities ranging from high to low end markets making her experience vast and adaptable. The ties between hospitality and residential design are like-minded in creating lasting interiors to surprise the visual senses of the end user.

David Paterson is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Toronto visualization group aiming to produce 3D conceptual design models, high quality 3D renders, animations and virtual reality allowing our clients to easily envision their finished projects. His efforts extend beyond Toronto to engage and collaborate globally, connecting a network of over 50 visualization specialists scattered across IBI Group offices.

With over 35 years of experience, Sue Chadwick has worked with a diverse group of clients on projects in various sectors. She is considered one of the leaders in IBI Group’s Education sector, offering advice at senior level and bringing a vast level of practical knowledge to any project.

She is an excellent communicator and is experienced in developing complex briefs with clients and stakeholders. Many projects require bespoke and particular methods of engagement and consultation and with the end user in mind, Sue runs a series of innovative processes including workshops and exhibitions. She has also developed a sound understanding of client values and requirements when delivering educational buildings on occupied sites.

As a qualified architectural technologist, Sue also has extensive technological knowledge in all aspects of design, construction processes contemporary building fabrics and structures.  Within the IBI Group, Sue is involved in promoting technical quality with an aim to embed an ethos of excellence and consistency in our approach by setting companywide standards that ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients.

As US Lead, Infrastructure, David Chow is responsible for the region’s operational results, including financial performance, professional and technical work, staff development, and client satisfaction. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Civil Engineering) from the University of California at Irvine and is both a registered Professional Engineer (Civil) and a certified Planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is a licensed engineer in California, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, and North Carolina, and is nationally certified by AICP as a planner in North America.

David has over 25 years of experience in engineering, planning, and urban design. He has managed major investment studies, complex transportation and land-use projects, Transit Oriented Development projects, as well as the design of local and regional transit systems, and technical work for environmental impact studies.

Bryan McKeown

With over 25 years of experience, Bryan McKeown’s background is with education facilities and high-rise residential buildings. He served as project architect on five major school projects with the NYC School Construction Authority: two new early childhood centers, an addition to an inter­mediate school, and a new design-build primary school. Notably, Bryan recently oversaw the renovation and expansion of Columbia Grammar and Prep School. As project manager, Bryan leads a team to ensure prompt and successful completion of a building project. As an Independent Director and Chair of the Board of Directors for IBI Group, Dale Richmond is a member of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Governance, and Compensation Committee.Mr. Richmond is currently the Chair of The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships. He has participated on a number of corporate boards and has served the community as past Chair of The Toronto Board of Trade, The Canadian Urban Institute and Humber College.

From 1993 to 2003, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. Prior to 1993, Mr. Richmond served with the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto for 17 years, where he held various positions including Chief Administrative Officer (for a period of eight years), Deputy Commissioner of Transportation, and Commissioner of Management and Computer Services. He also held various public sector positions in Halifax, Calgary and Sudbury.

Mr. Richmond received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University, a Master of Arts (Economics) degree from Dalhousie University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and a Fellow of the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.

The multiple perspectives from this rounded experience provides Tony with a real understanding of the opportunities and challenges that face healthcare facilities, and fuels a passion for ongoing innovation to provide a safer, more efficient and pleasant patient experience. Tony is an excellent communicator and regular conference speaker, who enjoys building strong relationships with clients, users and wider stakeholder groups.

Caz has excellent technical expertise in a number of development platforms and significant experience in requirements analysis, system design and architecture, the management of large development teams and the delivery of mobile, web and system development projects. Caz also architected IBI Group’s Software and System Development processes and procedures in the UK, using the Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology. She currently co-manages the UK Systems team, which now numbers some 20 developers and specialists.
