He is the Project Manager for the cities of Jeddah and Al Madinah travel model and Public Transport systems design, the Arriyadh comprehensive public transport plan and the electronic tolling for Attiki Odos the ring road in Athens, Greece and led the integration of multi-application smart card systems project in Europe, under the e-Europe program.

Mustafa has provided consulting services to the European Commission on funding ITS projects and proposals since 1998 and is the Technical Manager of the IMS Project, a Canadian initiative funded by the Federal government for the implementation of multi-modal and multi-application smart card systems since 1999.

Don Verbanac is an interdisciplinary Project Manager specializing in transit facilities. Jamie Douglas’s previous construction experience and interest in wood frame construction allowed him to fit naturally into the custom projects and complex low to mid-rise work undertaken by the firm. Over the past 20 years, Jamie has primarily focused on residential, resort clubhouses, office facilities, community libraries, private and public camp facilities, heritage renovations and several prestigious custom homes and cottages throughout Ontario and Quebec. Wendy is a recognised expert in the development and implementation of operational procedures for highway network management. Prior to joining IBI Group, she worked for Gloucestershire Police, supervising two control rooms, and for Highways England’s Traffic Officer Service, managing incidents both on the network and from the Regional Control Centre. She managed Highways England’s National Occupational Standards Programme, which she also developed into a formal Traffic Management Diploma, accredited by City and Guilds.

Since joining IBI Group in 2010, Wendy has advised clients such as Glasgow City Council and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), as well as continuing her role as technical advisor to Highways England. She has provided specialist support to Smart Motorway operations and led projects including the Stationary Vehicle Detection Trial and the development of Smart Motorway Driver Information Requirements. Wendy currently coordinates IBI’s work to enhance Highways England’s signalling policy and capability. She is integral to expanding the firm’s services to other highway network managers across the UK and to the emergency services.

Dave Barrett
