Geoff Carter joined IBI Group working in the development of our Advanced Traffic Management Systems software with an emphasis on the mapping display functionality. Geoff now leads IBI’s Advanced Traveller Information web and data interface team. Geoff and his team now support IBI traveller information systems that service roughly 25% of the population in the US, with notable active 511 solutions deployed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Florida, Wisconsin and Los Angeles. Geoff led IBI’s efforts for the deployment of the traveller information web site for the Pan Am games. Geoff has led efforts to provide SaaS (Software as a Solution), advanced IBI’s hosting center in Tampa, Florida and has managed the program to productize IBI’s software solution thereby allowing IBI to bring tremendous value to its clients. He is currently leading IBI’s efforts to advance the Event Reporting System and managing the New York and Wisconsin 511 projects.

David is a Senior Consultant based in IBI’s Glasgow office with considerable project management and consultancy experience. In a career spanning over 20 years, David has worked in both technology and transport planning fields. Since joining IBI he has played a lead role on our work with Transport Scotland, where he is now the project manager for the major Traffic Scotland Systems Contract Framework, one of IBI’s largest projects in the UK. This contract covers the development and operation of a number of systems critical to the management of the strategic road network and related functions, as well as other consulting services.

In addition to the project manager role, David continues to lead on specific projects delivered under the Framework, including Scotland’s new National Traffic Data System. This is a significant development for Transport Scotland and has been a complex project which has required a range of skills: engagement and coordination with a wide range of stakeholders; technical ability in respect to system requirements and design; management of the client with the introduction of new processes and procedures; and overseeing the implementation and launch. David holds an Honours degree in Computer Science, a Masters in Transport Planning and Engineering, and is PRINCE2 certified. He is also accredited in Software Testing.

Ryan is the Manager for Transportation Engineering in Ohio. With nearly 15 years of experience, he is known for leading our general engineering contracts with the Ohio Department of Transportation. Our most recent contract includes ODOT’s first on-call contract for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) services, which will be provided by our intelligence group. An unusual project that Ryan worked on was 24 miles of new border fence in Yuma, Arizona. A graduate of the Ohio State University, Ryan is a licensed professional engineer in nine states and is also a licensed professional surveyor in three states. At OCE, Claudia is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of initiatives that bring together multiple levels of government, large corporations, and SMEs to fuel growth in emerging technology areas, such as advanced computing and artificial intelligence, connected and autonomous vehicles, 5G and next generation networks, cybersecurity, and clean technologies.  Her team has a mandate to work with government, academic, and industry leaders to accelerate business innovation in high potential sectors that provide a competitive advantage for Canada in the global economy.

Prior to joining OCE, Claudia held the position of Vice President, Business Development (Ontario) at Mitacs, a national research organization that funds research and training programs for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in partnership with universities, industry, and government in Canada.

Claudia received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Toronto in 2003 and subsequently worked for Bruker BioSpin, a world leader in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology, enabling scientists to make breakthrough discoveries and develop new applications.
