Neil Lewin is a Managing Principal whose primary focus is developing the Living+ brand in the UK, which includes IBI Group’s work in the residential, high density mixed use and commercial sub-sectors. Neil also leads the UK infrastructure team comprising urban designers, planners and landscape architects. Neil is an architect and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He has more than 25 years of experience in his field and since joining IBI Group in 2009, he has led complex project teams in both the private and public sectors. He has worked hard to successfully collaborate a spectrum of skills within the practice, including architecture, urban regeneration and masterplanning to ensure IBI Group’s clients continually receive a comprehensive, high quality service. Neil’s role includes assisting the Regional Director to develop the structure and growth of the business, improving the design quality, depth of clients and profitability.

Darlene Broderick is a licensed Landscape Architect and Urban Planner. Spanning 25 years, her professional career covers a broad range of international and local work in both the public and private sectors. She has been involved in urban intensification projects, mobility hub projects, municipal corridor studies, adaptive reuse, streetscape master plans, secondary planning, policy and new town planning. Darlene’s comprehensive experience working at scales from detailed construction of streetscape designs to secondary planning, with a focus on issues related to urban design and complete streets, has led to a greater understanding of the impact and importance of creating connected, vibrant and walkable communities.
Current notable projects include the Eglinton Crosstown LRT and multiple phases of the vivaNext BRT.

John Perks is designated by PEO as a Consulting Engineer (Ontario) and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. He has over 25 years of experience as a project manager and senior engineer for a diversity of transportation and municipal projects involving feasibility studies, Class Environmental Assessments, functional, preliminary and final designs, contract preparation, and construction administration and inspection.

His project work includes both new and reconstruction of existing civil infrastructure. This broad experience across many municipalities has provided John with the ability to large, manage multidisciplinary projects and understand the complexities of public, political, approval agency and municipal pressures and requirements on a project.

John is also one of the few Region of Waterloo approved acoustical engineers and has completed the MOE noise assessment course as well as numerous seminars with expertise acoustical studies for both road and rail transportation, and stationary noise sources.

Christopher is currently managing construction administration of an 8-km expansion of the MTO’s COMPASS system and he is the lead ITS designer on Phase II of the Hwy 407 East extension.
