Stacy Unholz is an expert Project Manager with over 15 years’ experience managing projects in all areas of intelligent transportation systems such as advanced traveler information services (ATIS), advanced traffic management systems (ATMS), and strategic planning.  Ms. Unholz has supported several projects in the areas of Smart Cities and Internet of Things (IoT), helping to design and deploy technology solutions to mobility, sustainability and livability. Ms. Unholz is currently the Project Manager for the Los Angeles County Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies (LA SAFE) 511 Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system covering the greater Los Angeles area.   She is also supporting the design and development of a ground transportation permitting system for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. Ms. Unholz has extensive experience with 511 traveler information systems and has been involved in several 511 projects at all levels, from definition of functional requirements to implementation, operation, and successful upgrade and enhancements of services.  Ms. Unholz works with IBI’s Solutions group to support national deployment of an integrated suite of services that includes integration of third party data feeds, and the distribution of traveler information via website, mobile application, IVR systems and social media platforms.

In her 35+ years with IBI Group, Marie has been involved in the design and development of a variety of systems ranging from Traffic Management, Fleet Management, Traveller Information, Incident Processing, to Financial Accounting, Revenue Management and Tolling. She has gained extensive experience in the various phases of the software development life cycle ranging from gathering user specifications and producing functional specifications through software development and implementation to user documentation, testing and training. Marie has demonstrated excellent organizational and planning skills and attention to detail; as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers and various levels of management. Marie designed the back office for the first IBI Toll System in Greece and since then has lead the IBI toll team in the design, development and implementation of information management for each of its many toll systems. She specializes in database design, development and implementation of information management systems.
