Aadish Nargunde

Aadish, leads a team of 15+ passionate professionals from varied backgrounds. As the programme manager for Bhubaneswar Urban Knowledge Centre (BUKC) – a first-of-its-kind project in the field of Urban Governance, Aadish heads various projects related to as,

1. Child-Friendly Smart Cities (CFSC),

2. Urban Transport & Complete Streets Cell,

3. Smart Growth Programme,

4. Placemaking, Open space & Heritage Preservation Programme and

5. Communication, Outreach & Knowledge management cell.

His core expertise lies in the design and implementation of public spaces such as parks, streetscape and plazas and since the establishment of BUKC, Aadish has been specifically involved in the development of city-scale projects such as child-friendly parks, streets, placemaking, neighbourhood planning & public infrastructure. Aadish is passionate to experiment with Public art as a tool for urban regeneration and has been working extensively in this field. Besides, heritage preservation & conservation, branding & communication, integration of technology in the urban planning/ design projects are some of his key interest areas.
