Eric Czerniak has over 20 years of experience in design and project management serving both public and private sector clients. His expertise spans the transit, industrial, commercial, energy and land development sectors. Eric has been involved in all aspects of project development, from the feasibility study phase through to preparation of technical documentation including design drawings and specifications; permitting, licensing and approvals; tendering and award; contract administration; testing and commissioning and project close-out. He is experienced in leading teams representing IBI Group as the owner’s engineer and architect which includes preparing the terms of reference; being the client’s technical advisor and representing different clients in the procurement and award of design and construction contracts. Eric is a team player and an effective communicator having managed multidisciplinary teams on projects delivered under different delivery methods including design-bid-build; design-build and AFP/P3. Eric is also a volunteer with the Professional Engineers Ontario, serving on a professional standards sub-committee for joint coordinating professionals.

Bryce not only oversees all of the computers in our Houston office, he is a critical member of the IBI West Region Support Team covering multiple locations. He supports all aspects of our computer network, including development and implementation of wiring configuration standards connectivity solutions, overall network operation systems, network software, server hardware configurations, network file systems, directory structure, LAN/WAN system integrity and security, and the installation and configuration of network hardware and software. Mr. Reid is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, with over 40 years’ experience. He was Audit Leader for KPMG LLP in the Greater Toronto Area from 2008 to 2014. He has extensive experience in auditing as well as the management of professional service organizations, and has experience in strategic planning, development and growth management in all business sectors and industries, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, technology and health care. Mr. Reid is a founding member and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics, which supports physics research, training and outreach throughout the world. Mr. Reid served as chair of six hospital boards and two colleges across Canada. Mr. Reid received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

At IBI my team and I strive daily to create desirable places to live, work, play, shop, learn and heal, optimizing key social, economic and economic objectives and drawing inspiration from the 'genius loci'.
Stephen Shawcross joined the IBI Group Toronto office in 1979. In 1980 he moved to Calgary and became a partner in 1987. Mr. Shawcross was instrumental in the growth of the practice, which he led along with Architect Ross Hayes for many years. Under his direction the Calgary office added civil engineering, landscape architecture, graphics, and expanded the scope of the planning group to include land valuation, market research, economics and benefit/cost analysis to complement the land use and urban design functions. During his tenure, the planning and landscape groups garnered numerous honours including AACIP and CIP awards. More recently Mr. Shawcross and his team, including the full complement of IBI disciplines, have created state-of-the-art tools for use in Flood Damage Reduction projects. This work has culminated in the authorship of the Canadian Guidelines and Database of Flood Vulnerability Functions for Natural Resources and Public Safety Canada.

John has recently led teams on a number of projects in both the acute and primary care sectors, including the award winning development at Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool. John is keen to pioneer innovative design solutions such as the “Barn Theatre” concept, but places great emphasis on excellent relationships with client and contractor as the key to a successful project.
