Arcadis IBI supports and enables Indigenous leadership in business and education. Recent endeavors include membership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, and joining the First Nations Major Projects Coalition as a Sustaining Partner.

Arcadis IBI is committed to investing in Indigenous education. As part of our commitment to the Principles of Reconciliation in Canada, we provide scholarships to Indigenous students through Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures program.

Arcadis IBI Group works in partnership with Indigenous communities at every stage of a project. In alignment with our internal commitments to reconciliation and change, this work includes rethinking traditional approaches, refining operational protocols, and bringing specific design inspirations and requirements to bear on collaborative projects in the spirit of decolonization.

Our comprehensive community consultation process maximizes the effectiveness of our services to ensure the needs of the community are identified and addressed. We focus on relationship building and develop engagements and consultation processes with care and respect.

We identify opportunities for capacity building in order to collaborate and contribute to the Indigenous communities with which we share a working relationship. Arcadis IBI identifies opportunities to contract Indigenous owned business and provide access to appropriate skills training.
