Ramakrishna obtained a Master of Technology in Transportation Systems Engineering from IIT Bombay in the year 2005. He has close to 15 years of experience in the traffic engineering, transportation planning and modelling, varied experience in various sectors like highway concessionaire, multi modal transit system manager and traffic & transportation advisory. Worked in traffic and transport modelling in various sectors such as Highway traffic model development for India’s largest toll project (Kishangarh – Udaipur – Ahmedabad), Mega urban areas linking project (Mumbai Trans Harbor Link) and Regional level Traffic cum Transport modelling (Delhi Regional Rapid Transit System). Extensive experience in Traffic & revenue assessment for around 90 highway and urban Toll (PPP) projects in India International experience in the area of urban transportation field specific to the freight transportation and logistics management for the City of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ramakrishna has experience in urban transportation planning studies like comprehensive mobility plans for cities, truck terminal feasibility studies and public transportation policy framework studies for improving public transportation in India cities along with Traffic management plans and road safety audits for around 300 km length of National highways of all phases like Planning, Construction and Operations.
Kamran Naseem is an Architect-Urban Planner, working as a specialist identifying Urban and Regional economic, social and environmental issues, developing short- and long-term plans to create, grow and revitalize communities and areas. Working with deep commitment towards creating livable/sustainable/ intelligent cities, I have always been fascinated by the city at its various scales and have in the last few years explored the various layers which constitute the urban fabric– where in its labyrinthine alleys exist several microcosms, each inter-connected to make a complete system. With specialization in core urban planning and placemaking, I have worked on national and international projects within IBI Group. The overall experience includes, study, analysis, conceptual design and construction drawings of urban and regional projects in the realm of Transit Oriented Development, Zonal Development, Site planning and Smart Cities.
Sandeep is an Architect-Urban Designer with an ardent eye for qualitative reading of urban form, processes and design. With his focus on humanizing urban environments; his works revolve around designing cities and public spaces for people by various means of pedestrian oriented design techniques. His interests are in the realm of accessibility, its impact on urban setting and belief that socio-spatial analysis of urban environments facilitates innovative approach to projects. His portfolio of projects displays an array of expertise in the field of transit-oriented development, master planning, streetscape design, urban design guidelines, city branding and community outreach for diverse scales and contexts in multi-stakeholder environments.
Srinivas Ganji, Associate with IBI Group, Hyderabad office, is a Transportation Engineer with over 8 years of experience in various traffic engineering and Intelligent Transport Systems and transport modelling projects in India, UAE and few of the assignments in collaboration with USA and Canada offices. He has a great passion for contributing in creating a sustainable transportation planning, implementation of smart mobility and data analytics in all his technical domains. He is also actively involved in IBI PIVOT initiatives too in designing the products. He along with his team, contributes in variety of areas such as planning, engineering, modeling, policy, data analytics, etc.
Aadish, leads a team of 15+ passionate professionals from varied backgrounds. As the programme manager for Bhubaneswar Urban Knowledge Centre (BUKC) – a first-of-its-kind project in the field of Urban Governance, Aadish heads various projects related to as,
1. Child-Friendly Smart Cities (CFSC),
2. Urban Transport & Complete Streets Cell,
3. Smart Growth Programme,
4. Placemaking, Open space & Heritage Preservation Programme and
5. Communication, Outreach & Knowledge management cell.
His core expertise lies in the design and implementation of public spaces such as parks, streetscape and plazas and since the establishment of BUKC, Aadish has been specifically involved in the development of city-scale projects such as child-friendly parks, streets, placemaking, neighbourhood planning & public infrastructure. Aadish is passionate to experiment with Public art as a tool for urban regeneration and has been working extensively in this field. Besides, heritage preservation & conservation, branding & communication, integration of technology in the urban planning/ design projects are some of his key interest areas.
Ms. Nautiyal holds a Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. She has over 13 years of experience in the field of Broadband Communication, Fibre optic Networking, and Telecommunication Engineering working on global projects including in Canada, USA, North Africa, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Montenegro, and India among others. Ms. Nautiyal has a diversified experience of inside and outside plant communication systems design to support voice, data and video services for a mix of private, municipal and government clients. She has been involved in complete lifecycle of projects including stakeholder’s consultation, detailed designs, bid process management, construction and contract supervision and commissioning. Further, she has an extensive experience in designing and implementing Intelligent buildings and Smart Communities and has worked directly with agencies looking to push broadband communications deeper into rural communities, such as York Telecom Network (Canada) and Bharatnet Broadband (India).
Visweswara Rao Gantasala
Visweswara (Vissu) joined IBI Group as a Transportation Systems Engineer in 2007, fresh out of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. As one of IBI India’s first hires, he began his career working on tolling and highway Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) implementation projects. Over the last 15 years, he has completed numerous complicated projects in both the consulting and systems implementation domains.
With his zest for innovation motivated by actual field application, he played a crucial role in establishing IBI Group as a Systems Technology Leader in the region by completing multiple large projects. The Indore BRT Project—the firm’s first World Bank-funded project in India, which helped the firm secure a stream of World Bank contracts in the years that followed; and the Hyderabad ITMS Project—which aided IBI in building the Software Development practice in Hyderabad, allowing him to contribute to the firm’s new direction.
At present, he is very actively involved in transforming the company along with the leadership team towards the aim of making IBI a Technology-Driven Design Firm under IBI’s Digital/ PIVOT initiative. His goal is to make IBI synonymous with Software Product Technology in the domains of Intelligence, Buildings, and Infrastructure.
Manish joined IBI in 2007 and has 15 years of experience. He has been leading the toll system and traffic system implementation projects in India and has been active on the consulting assignments in transit ITS, smart cites solutions and is trained on world bank procurement processes. Some of the notable projects on which Manish has played a critical role include being a project manager for the Bangalore Elevated Toll System, Bhubaneswar Smart City ICOMC program management, procurement expert on the Shendra Smart City – AURIC, transit lead on Hubli Dharwad BRT system and Indore BRT system, and implementation lead on the Hyderabad ITMS project. He has been instrumental in building the operations and maintenance practice in India for the toll and traffic management systems. He is also actively involved with the IBI Smart City Platform team.
Venkata Chunduru is a transportation systems professional currently working as a Director | Intelligence in India. With about 21 years of experience, Venkata primarily works on systems, technology, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), operations and investment appraisal for major transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, airports, ports and metro rail projects. Some of the notable projects he is involved are implementation of highway toll traffic management systems in India, radio-frequency identification (RFID)- based container tracking systems for a major Indian port, and development of Mumbai Metro master plan.
At IBI Group, he is involved in Hyderabad Intelligent Traffic Management Systems, Hubli-Dharwad ITS, Intelligent City Operations and Management Centre (ICOMC), Bhubaneswar Smart City and actively involved in their business development efforts. He is a Fellow at Institute of Engineers in India, member of Institute of Transportation Engineers (U.S.) and is also a member of technical committee on transport planning and traffic engineering for the Indian Road Congress.
Aditya joined IBI Group in 2008 and has over ten years of experience working in diverse projects involving transportation planning, toll systems and ITS. He has been instrumental in the implementation of the toll and ATMS work in India right from the first set of projects, including GMR ATMS and Toll Management Systems. Further, he plays a critical role in the global support team of ATMS and 511 projects where he has been responsible for leading the support team from India. Aditya has been able to demonstrate a comprehensive technical skill set across diverse projects from a design and implementation perspective. Some of his recent projects include project management of Hubli-Dharwad BRT ITS, implementation of Bangalore Elevated Toll System, and Hyderabad city ITMS where he is helping the team in design and deployment of the system.
