Tomer Ganor is the business operations manager for IBI’s International region, and the Tel Aviv Office Lead. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Master of Business Administration with 15 years of financial experience, specializing in increasing the efficiency of companies. During his career, Tomer has been involved in IPOs, investments, operational management, strategic consulting and financial modeling.

Tomer joined IBI Group in 2016 and has been responsible for the reorganization of the Tel Aviv office to support the commercial management of the NTA Red Line Tel Aviv LRT project. In addition, he served as the Regional Head of Finance, where he supported the implementation of corporate working standards across IBI’s International region offices.

Previously, Tomer was a senior management and strategic consultant at KPMG for three years, and served as a controller and CFO in a medical device company for four years.

Thabet is a Civil and Structural Engineer with over 20 years of international experience in the UK and the Middle East. Thabet is a highly respected professional in his field, a business-minded, solutions-focused Civil and Structural Engineer, and Project Manager. He has the ability to simplify and conceptualize complex problems and processes. Thabet is a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng) and certified International Professional Engineer (IntPE) in the UK with broad experience of project and design management, construction management, and civil and structural design experience in both the buildings and infrastructure sectors with proven capability in leading design and construction teams for the delivery of multidisciplinary projects.

His technical expertise spans a wide range of civil engineering fields including detailed design of residential and commercial buildings, highway and railway infrastructure design and management, detailed structural design of transit facilities including stations, railway maintenance depots, retaining walls, and underground stations. Thabet currently serving as Design Manager and Construction Phase Services Lead for five Underground Stations for the NTA Red Line Tel Aviv LRT project. Thabet earned BEng in Civil and structural engineering degree from Nottingham Trent University (UK) and an MSc in Structural Engineering from the University of Surrey (UK) and he is a Member of The Institution of Structural Engineers in the UK (MIStructE) and registered Civil Engineer in Israel.

Gaby studied Architecture and qualified as an Architect in the UK before settling and practising in Israel, working predominantly for the Red Line LRT project. She has extensive experience in Transit Architecture, being involved in the Red Line from preliminary stages of design through construction. Gaby has most recently guided the successful interface coordination between the Systems and Fit Out Contractors, driving forward solutions and fostering a collaborative approach across the board.

Zain Ali has over ten years of experience specializing in the areas transportation planning, traffic engineering, safety and geometric design combined with extensive experience in urban and landscape planning. He has managed and led a wide variety of long-range and multi-modal transportation projects related to public transit planning, transportation master planning, travel demand modelling, traffic simulation modelling, transportation assessments and parking, both in Canada and in the Middle East. Zain brings a keen eye for devising ‘balanced’ transportation solution considering transportation-land use integration to create attractive, liveable and sustainable built-environments. Being an avid supporter of active transportation modes, Zain is actively involved in a wide-range of multi-modal mega development projects promoting context-sensitive design solutions across the Middle East region. Zain is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada as well as in UAE and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).

Stelios Pelantakis counts over 22 years’ experience in Infrastructure Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems. Since joining IBI Group in 2000 he has worked for projects in Greece, UK, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Stelios is Practice Lead for Land Engineering projects in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Muhammad A. Mustafa has steadily grown his reputation at IBI Group over the last 18 years. He is the Project Manager for the cities of Jeddah and Al Madinah travel model and Public Transport systems design, the Arriyadh comprehensive public transport plan and the electronic tolling for Attiki Odos the ring road in Athens, Greece and led the integration of multi-application smart card systems project in Europe, under the e-Europe program.

Mustafa has provided consulting services to the European Commission on funding ITS projects and proposals since 1998 and is the Technical Manager of the IMS Project, a Canadian initiative funded by the Federal government for the implementation of multi-modal and multi-application smart card systems since 1999.

David Traub-Werner is a civil engineer that has spent the majority of his career applying Systems Thinking and Engineering principles to infrastructure projects. His involvement on large Intelligent Transportation Systems projects, both P3 and public-lead design-bid-build, has included direct involvement and leadership in the range of professional services for software development, center-to-field interfaces, field infrastructure connectivity of communications and power and physical infrastructure.

David served as the Assistant Project Manager for the design of ten underground stations for the NTA Red Line Tel Aviv LRT project, as well as the complete construction phase services for five stations. With a keen interest in digital value expeditions, David builds on his systems thinking to investigate, publish and present on current technologies as applied to IBI Group’s core businesses, including: distributed ledger technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
