Brookside Elementary:  Renovations include masonry restoration of exterior brick veneer, ceiling abatement and replacement with ACT, abatement of VAT finish materials and replacement with VCT flooring, interior door replacement, gymnasium operable partition replacement, classroom casework replacement; Mechanical renovations including air terminal equipment replacement and installation of water heater; Plumbing renovations including fixture replacement and distribution system modifications; Electrical renovations including classroom lighting replacement, power distribution modifications, main service and gear replacement, and data system modifications; including all associated appurtenances.

Donnelly Elementary:  Renovations include masonry restoration of exterior brick veneer, ceiling abatement and replacement with ACT, abatement of VAT finish materials and replacement VCT flooring, interior door replacement, gymnasium operable partition replacement, classroom casework replacement, terrazzo flooring repair, metal roof deck replacement; Mechanical renovations including air terminal equipment replacement; Plumbing renovations including backflow device installation, fixture replacement and distribution system modifications; Electrical renovations including classroom lighting replacement, power distribution modifications, main service and gear replacement, and data system modifications; including all associated appurtenances.

Brookside Bus Storage:  Renovations include modifications to the fire alarm system including all associated appurtenances.

Estimated Construction Budget

General Construction -1:    $600,000 – $650,000

General Construction -2:   $350,000 – $400,000

Mechanical Construction:   $200,000 – $225,000

Electrical Construction:        $750,000 – $775,000

Plumbing Construction:        $250,000 – $275,000

Asbestos Abatement -6:         $350,000 – $400,000

Asbestos Abatement -7:          $50,000 – $75,000

Pre-Bid Meeting

Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the District Office Conference Room, 1040 Conklin Road, Conklin, NY  13748 at 3:00 PM, February 20, 2019.  Project sites will be available for bidders to inspect proposed work areas from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on weekdays by appointment. Bid Opening

Bids are due at the Susquehanna Valley District Office, 1040 Conklin Road, Conklin, NY  13748 until 3:00 PM, on March 6, 2019 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the District Office Conference Room.

Project Schedule

Start:  Ten (10) days after receipt of “Notice to Proceed”.

Completion:  November 1, 2019
