Our in-field work experience program gives current students and new graduates a chance to apply their foundational knowledge, explore career paths, and gain invaluable exposure to some of our most exciting projects.
Why Campus ConneXt?
During your placement, you’ll be thrown right into the heart of things with opportunities to learn and contribute towards real projects from day one. You will learn from and work with some of the most accomplished professionals in the industry, and be given as much responsibility as you show us you can handle. Many of our program’s past participants have gone on to earn positions within the firm, and there is real potential for part-time employment during the school year and full-time permanent opportunities upon graduation.
Our co-op spots and internships are open to students who are registered in a relevant university or college program, and are returning to school after their 4, 8, 12 or 16-month work term. Our students typically start with us in January, May, and September.
Jobs are posted on our careers page or the school job boards about 3-4 months in advance of the anticipated start date. So if you are hoping to start with us in May, you should start looking at postings in January.
Step 1: Assess and Apply
Take some time to review the available opportunities. Ask yourself, what city would you like to work in? Which of our practices would you like to make an impact on? Be sure to carefully read and follow the instruction to ensure that your application is submitted correctly.
Step 2: Application reviewed by the Campus ConneXt Team
Your application will be reviewed by our Campus Team and if it fits our requirements, you will be contacted by your school or directly by a recruiter depending on how you applied.
Step 3: Face-to-Face Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be selected for a face-to-face interview at an IBI Group office or on your campus. Remember, the interview is not just about us learning about you – it’s a great opportunity for you to learn about our firm and our latest projects.
Step 4: Offer
Accepted applicants will be contacted by our Campus Team to go over the details of your formal offer letter, and will be sent all documents via e-mail for you to review, sign and submit.
Step 5: Onboarding
We want to make sure your first day at IBI Group sets you up for success. This begins with an interactive orientation session where you’ll meet your fellow students, learn more about the company, and get ready for the start of your Campus ConneXt program.
