IBI Group’s New Model of Working
IBI Group has taken decisive action in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have worked swiftly and thoughtfully to ensure the continued health and safety of our staff, clients and partners, while fulfilling our obligations and commitments to our clients.
Message from IBI Group CEO, Scott Stewart
Since the start of the viral outbreak, IBI Group has worked swiftly and thoughtfully to respond to the daily containment measures and restrictions coming from governments around the world. We continue to prioritize the health and safety of our staff, clients and partners, while fulfilling our obligations and commitments to our clients.
Because of our leadership as a technology-driven design firm; the internal systems and automations we have established, and the strength of our IT and Design Technology teams, we have been well-prepared to navigate the challenges of the pandemic. Our 2,700 staff continue to operate successfully as a fully remote workforce, and we have experienced very little interruption to our work.
As cities around the world endure new lockdown restrictions, the promise of a vaccine shines brightly. While we continue to support our staff in working remotely, we are also looking ahead to what the future of work might bring. When it comes time to return to the office, we intend to lead by example, and are working diligently to develop a strategy that bestows on us the continued benefits of a reduced environmental footprint and improved work-life balance.
Nspace, our workplace management app, effectively addresses the issues of social distancing, self-health assessment and contact tracing, and remains a critical part of our strategy. Developed as an agile response to the pandemic, Nspace will also support our clients in defining their own vision of the ‘Office of the Future’ as the pandemic evolves in 2021.
I am very proud of our staff globally who have demonstrated strength and perseverance in the face of these extraordinary circumstances, but I also recognize staff are facing challenges related to social isolation and emotional well-being. I continue to encourage IBI’s leadership to find ways to create connection, support balance and ensure staff feel they are part of our OneIBI family.
Our agility, our ability to innovate, and our expertise in designing solutions like Nspace to respond to our clients’ needs has positioned us well to adapt to the rapidly evolving circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic will come to an end. When it does, we will together be stronger and more resilient for it.Learn more about IBI Group's precautionary measures
