Aaron Sanders is a registered architect in the state of Texas with over 17 years’ architectural experience that consists of PreK-12, commercial and public sector projects. He is a multi-faceted Associate Principal who acts as a go-to source for many of our staff members while leading project management efforts throughout the programming, design, technical production and construction administration phases. Where most architects’ strengths lie on either the design side or the technical side of the profession, Aaron is talented in both arenas. He has a passion for mentoring which is spawned from his belief that it is our obligation to teach, coach and share information with our next generation of emerging professionals. Sania has extensive experience in architecture and interior design. Her ability to design and coordinate renovation and new construction, shell and interiors, results in fully coordinated projects that integrate architecture and interiors with a unified design expression and an emphasis on quality. Sania’s expertise spans the markets of high tech, creative office, corporate office, spec office, full service interiors, higher education, institutional, residential, renovation and due diligence, hospitality, and sustainable design. She excels in understanding and interpreting a client’s unique culture and aesthetic requirements, utilizing a strategic, collaborative approach to process development and problem solving, informed by a lively interest in positive communication and relationship development. Pavel Stoev

Mr. Stoev is a Professional Systems Engineer with over 15 years of experience, leading team design, development, delivery, operations and support of complex IT and communications infrastructure projects. He has a strong electrical engineering and software engineering background, including network and systems engineering, data centre operations, systems architecture design and deployment, telecommunications systems integration, RF systems and networking technologies integration as well as mobile application development and software configuration management.

His project portfolio covers resilient IP networks, high availability secure cloud computing, highly reliable software, mobile content delivery and low latency wired/wireless. Experience is primarily in the ITS market segment, with various airports, transit, transportation and public infrastructure clients based in North America, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean region.

Mark Humienny

Mr. Humienny is an experienced architect skilled in master planning, programming and building design. He’s designed and managed a diverse range of project types, including commercial offices and collaborative work places, higher-ed academic and athletic facilities, clinical and electronics laboratories, municipal operations centers, fleet maintenance and fueling facilities, warehouse distribution and flex facilities, commercial printing plants and senior living communities. Mr. Humienny is a LEED® Accredited professional with experience in achieving LEED® certified projects and sustainable designs. He’s served as an adjunct faculty member at North Carolina State University’s College of Design, where he taught analysis of environment and context as a design determinant. His approach to planning and design stresses the integration of building, site, and context with an emphasis on creating efficient and healthy work-place environments.

Danny Brewster

Mr. Brewster joined IBI Group in 1999 and brings over 25 years of institutional and commercial architectural experience to the firm. He has successfully managed projects with tight constraints and budget parameters including new facilities, additions and renovations. Daniel is involved in every project phase and has a reputation for effectively leading large, complex teams and creating sustainable solutions for clients.

Mr. Brewster’s experience with IBI Group includes projects in the educational, religious and civic sectors. His work with our educational clients centers on the transition from traditional to next generation learning environments and pedagogies. Daniel also has experience in managing extensive multi-facility expansion and enhancement projects and understands the natural relationship between a school facility and best practices for teaching and learning.

Bryce Bankston

Mr. Bankston has been with IBI Group since 1999 and is an Associate Principal with the firm. Bryce has extensive experience leading operations for technology, business development, budgeting, acquisitions, integrations, and application development while coordinating with global technical teams. He is also an integral part of the strategic planning initiative for IBI at the corporate level.

Bryce not only oversees all of the computers in our Houston office, he is a critical member of the IBI West Region Support Team covering multiple locations. He supports all aspects of our computer network, including development and implementation of wiring configuration standards connectivity solutions, overall network operation systems, network software, server hardware configurations, network file systems, directory structure, LAN/WAN system integrity and security, and the installation and configuration of network hardware and software. In other words, he keeps us working.

Myrna Norman

Ms. Norman joined IBI Group in 2000 and is the Business Manager of the firm. As a CPA, she honed her analytical and organizational skills through her work with doctors, lawyers and public accountants.

Myrna currently oversees business operations for IBI Group in Texas and Oregon and is responsible for managing and monitoring project-related finances. She also manages the day-to-day operations of the accounting department while working closely with the Principals to advance the firm’s strategic financial goals.

Johnny Caliendo

Mr. Caliendo has been a leader in the architecture community for over 25 years. He is currently a Senior Project Manager for IBI Group in Raleigh NC. He has worked on many different award-winning projects of various scales and types. His work has been published in foreign and domestic books and periodicals. He has served in leadership positions in government and industry organizations, including the University of Greensboro Development Board and the Board of Design Corps. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the College of Design in Raleigh, North Carolina. His service to the community also includes leadership in Jobs For Life, Raleigh Men’s Shelter, and Project Literacy. He is a LEED AP design professional and has designed both LEED Silver and Gold buildings.

Monitors technology trends that will impact products in the years to come and recommends suitable new technologies and standards to create strategic prioritization and add higher value to customers. A champion for product quality, specializes in systems architecture, design, development and integration, software development life cycle, user experience complex processes, business analysis and integration.
