Creating the cultural heart of Vaughan’s evolving downtown
We provided planning, landscape architecture, and architectural services for the development of a mixed-use community called Festival, comprising four signature condominium buildings atop podiums with retail space and shared amenity uses. Festival will contain a total of 2,470 residential units, commercial retail space and a significant amount of public open space. We are in the process of obtaining Official Plan amendments, Zoning By-law amendments, and Site Plan approval for the project. We also prepared the Planning Justification Report, the Urban Design and Sustainability Brief, and coordinated with all the consultants for timely submissions.
IBI Group also provided planning, project management and coordination services to obtain Consent to Sever, Official Plan amendments, Zoning By-law amendments, as well as Site Plan and Draft Plan of Subdivision approvals to facilitate the Mobilio development, consisting of 1,148 condominium and townhouse units, commercial retail space, and approximately 1-acre of parkland in Vaughan’s new downtown.
