Anita Leonoff joined IBI Group shortly after graduating from UBC’s Architecture School and learned quickly. In the mid 1980s, Anita began the renovation work on the Hotel Vancouver, one of her longest running projects and one she continues to work on to this day. In the 1990s, Anita took on the local work for Holt Renfrew which at the time was renovation work. This later turned into a new store for Vancouver, followed by Calgary, and a number in Ontario and Quebec, which is a testament to her work. Anita’s areas of specialty include institutional and hospitality facilities design, retail and office tenant fit-ups, heritage renovations, and the management of the approvals and public consultation processes.

With over 25 years of experience, Bryan McKeown’s background is with education facilities and high-rise residential buildings. Carlos Gutierrez De Quevedo is a mobility specialist with over ten years of experience researching and working on urban mobility projects. Carlos has a M.Sc. in Transportation from MIT supplemented by international experience in planning and policy, infrastructure, operations, analytics, and technology projects. Alyssa Koehn is an urban designer with IBI Group’s Vancouver practice. Her work focuses primarily on the development of master planning concepts, where she manages both the design and approval process, as well as facilitating public engagement and outreach. She has worked on both public and private sector projects, ranging from a few acres to a city-wide scale. Alyssa holds both a Master of Architecture and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles. She works to integrate the two disciplines, ensuring that master planning concepts both align with local policy goals and transition smoothly into architecture. Kelly Cobbe has provided engineering design, construction administration and project management services to various local municipalities, regional municipalities and provincial and federal government agencies in Eastern and Southwestern Ontario for 30 years. Leveraging a number of IBI’s core strengths, he has undertaken infrastructure and urban streetscape revitalization projects in the downtown cores of a number of municipalities in Waterloo Region. Past efforts have also included leading the civil design efforts during the preparation of the Waterloo LRT Bid and managing a portion of the Viva H3 BRT project. In addition to his Professional Engineer licensing in Ontario and Manitoba, Kelly was designated as a Consulting Engineer by Professional Engineers of Ontario in 2004. He is a founding member and current past-chair of the Grand River Chapter of Consulting Engineers of Ontario, an active member of the Waterloo Region Homebuilder Association Waterloo Liaison Committee, and a past member of the KW Chamber of Commerce Regional and Municipal Affairs Committee.
