Larry has over 20 years of extensive software and systems engineering experience in effectively managing and designing web, mobile, voice, and multi-modal user interface services. Larry has a long career of project and program management as well as web and speech recognition application design and delivery. Larry is a leader for IBI Group’s ATIS practice, having managed multiple 511 deployments as well as having been a creator of the IBI Group 511 IVR platform. His responsibilities include the oversight of Operations and Maintenance and client management for a substantial number of IBI Group’s 12 Traveler Information deployments. Larry is a visionary in interaction design and is the inventor or co-inventor on multiple user experience design patents. He has been designing and deploying mobile, telematics, web, and in-home speech, touchscreen, and web-browser applications since 1999, always exploring the boundaries and experiences of the Human Computer Interaction. He brings a wealth of deployment and O&M experience as well as strong user experience design understanding. Larry has managed deployments and operations for the following entities: Los Angeles 511 (five county region), San Francisco Bay Area 511, Florida 511, Alaska 511, MASS 511, New York 511, Arizona 511, and Alberta 511. These deployments include such complex user interactions as real-time traffic, transit, and weather information. He has more than 25 years’ experience in intelligent transport systems and smart cities areas, providing strategic advice and management to public and private sector organisations in the use of technology to support transport networks and city operations.  Project experience ranges from research and feasibility, planning and design through to implementation and operation. Richard Golledge is a qualified architect specialising in education and healthcare design. As a strong team leader, he has managed the design and delivery of projects under various public sector procurement routes and contracts, including the NEC Partnering contract. Richard is experienced in creating specialist learning environments for leading universities. Adept at delivering schemes from master planning to construction, he works closely with stakeholder groups to deliver the strategic vision. He understands how important the built environment is as a marketing tool for attracting students and has demonstrated this by developing a striking scheme at Cardiff University. In healthcare, Richard has worked on a number of specialist and acute schemes. He works closely with Trusts to provide value for money. His experience also includes work in the residential sector, where he won a Regional RIBA Award for a one-off house in Malmesbury. His innovative approach to design has been supported by his keen interest in research and development. In 2009, Richard was selected by the Design Commission for Wales, Royal Society of Architects Wales and the WSA to exhibit his work at the ‘Reflecting Wales 09:09’ exhibition which showcased work of the best of emerging architects in Wales. In 2010, Richard exhibited at the National Eisteddfod in Wales.
