Chris leads the Canada East K-12 sector for IBI which counts the majority of school boards in southern Ontario as clients. Comfortable with projects at any scale, Chris always looks for design opportunities that further the clients’ goals with an original solution. Firmly committed to sustainability he has taught and consulted on sustainable design in the USA, Spain and Argentina. Chris also leads IBI’s Canada East Sustainability Initiative and is a member of our corporate Climate Action Initiative.

As Chief Operations Director, Audrey Jacob is responsible for the firm’s global Marketing & Communications, Human Resources and the office leases for IBI’s 60+ offices. She works alongside the other members of the Executive Team and senior leadership on the operational aspects of the firm. Having joined IBI Group in 1986, she is very familiar with the firm’s history, its work and its people. An important area of focus for Audrey relates to guiding and developing a work environment and policies that embrace Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Audrey is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and a Professional Land Economist (PLE) with more than 25 years of experience. Previously, she led the firm’s Real Estate Economic & Planning practice, specializing in growth management/land needs, market analysis, development/financial feasibility/strategy, economic impact, development charges, and municipal financial impact analysis. Audrey has a BA in Geography from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Urban Planning from McGill University. She is the Chair of the Executive Committee of Pragma Council at the University of Waterloo, a forum of business, education and government leaders; a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI); and a Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Champion.

Although Marsha Bousquet has 26 years of experience related to urban infrastructure development from planning through implementation, since 2009, Marsha’s focus has been entirely dedicated to AFP/P3-type projects. Her role extends from the commercial management of P3 projects, design team management, bid management during RFQ/RFP stage, and instilling best practices in delivery. Prior to that, she undertook master planning and entitlements for major redevelopment projects in Canada and the United States that have reshaped development patterns to take advantage of public transit, contributing to more sustainable city building. Her professional experience in planning major infill, redevelopment projects involving the transformation of industrial lands to mixed-use, Transit Oriented Developments; master site planning for light rail and commuter rail transit stations; transportation planning studies for urban transit; and securing entitlements related to multi-tower high rise residential and mixed-use projects gives her a broad and unique perspective into design team work on AFP/P3 projects.
